Compared to other .380 pocket pistols this little Taurus has, by far, the best trigger. I had the opportunity to compare it side by side with the Ruger and the Smith & Wesson bodyguard. I can honestly say that Taurus has the best gun. Now, the white color was not a good choice, it is almost impossible to keep clean and paint chipped in a few places. My advice: do not waste your money in .380 pocket pistol, instead by a small 9mm like the Glock 43, Smith and Wesson Shield, Kimber micro or, if you are in a budget, SCCY makes a great small 9mm with 10 round magazine!!!.

ORDERED THIS GUN ON TUES AFTERNOON--GUN WAS AT FFL FRIDAY AT NOON--GUN WAS TOP QUALITY--CAME WITH A TAURUS BULLDOG HOLSTER(LOOKS LIKE A CELLPHONE CASE) AND CAN BE ATTACHED TO BELT--ALSO CAME WITH TWO CLIPS--WHITE COLOR WAS EXCELLENT--WILL UPDATE AFTER SHOOTING IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES--I DON'T EXPECT ANY AS OTHER TAURUS GUNS I'VE OWNED HAVE ALSO BEEN EXCELLENT IN LOOKS AND FUNCTIONING. THIS WAS MY FIRST ORDER FROM BUD'S--I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM AS DO THE THOUSANDS OF OTHER PEOPLE THAT HAVE ORDERED FROM THEM. I WILL BUY FROM BUD'S AGAIN--SAVINGS WAS SUBSTANTIAL OVER LOCAL DEALERS

This gun is pack with features for the money paid. I give it 4 stars because the gus is painted white, so I used paint remover and now is dual tone (SS & Black Polymer). Looks even better. After reviewing couple videos on you tube, I took care of the detailing and the gun shoots flawlessly every time. Taurus has great guns for the money and is too bad they don't pay attention to the just a simple things and details that set apart a good gun from and excellent gun.

This review is just my first impression without shooting it. This does not reflect on Buds. I received the Taurus "white" 738 TCP at my FFL and immediately upon inspection, I could see that it was painted plastic (not white plastic). I could see where the paint was not consistent and dark spots show through (not like the picture). So if you care about looks, I would think twice before buying it. I personal care more about how it performs, so I may be updating this at a later date.

Sharp looking gun. The TCP is about as light and compact as a 6+1 round .380 is going to get. It's very light and comfortable to carry. I've shot 500 rounds through it so far, no problems so far. Highly recommend it.
