good weapon, light weight

For the money, there is no other rifle like the Appeal. I am 84yo and I can shoot 8" groups, off a rest and it doesn't hammer like more powerful guns. This is a perfect weapon to teach girls and boys to shoot at distant. My grandkids have fun learning the technique. Great sport!
They and I can't wait to go out again.

I gave it 3 stars because of the BB gun size barrel. which causes the 10 round pattern that looks like a shotgun did it. I bought it thinking I could fix it but when I saw the barrel I bedded the barrel and receiver. IT helped a lot. But a lot of work. If they put a bigger barrel on it I would buy again.

The shipping was fast and rifle was exactly like described. I will continue to purchase firearms and accessories through buds.

Just like the LR the Magnum seems to work very well. Nice packaging too. This gun will make for a wonderful truch gun!!

Its a fun rifle to have. Light enough to carry without getting tired, i needed something more powerful than a regular lr22. Plus cant beat the styling. Would recomend

I just bought the EAA appeal 22mag. Bullpup. Sweet gun over all. How ever I did experienced a jamming problem. All it took was just a good cleaning. Also once I put a few rounds through it. I have had very little jamming since. I put a sure shot red dot site ( $40.00 ) and a pistol style flash lite ( $50.00) on lower rail. Great combo. Thanks Buds Gun Shop. Took the rifle to the range yesterday to try the new rifle out and to sight it in. After firing the rifle with around 10 rounds it started a failure to eject every 2 or 3 rounds. At first I thought it was the magazine that might be causing the problem. I have 3 magazines and found the same problem of failing to eject with all 3. I then decided to try a different ammo manufacturer. That took care of the problem! I had brought along 3 brands of .22 mag ammo. One (the most expensive) having problems to eject and 2 other brands working flawlessly. Back to sighting in: Sighting in at 25 yds. I found that the rifle was very close with it's windage and it only took a few rounds to get that on. The elevation was shooting about 8 inches high. It took about 24 rounds to get the elevation set. I was afraid that I was going to run out of threads on the front sight post. Make sure you have a pair of plyers to use with the bolt handle which is used for the front sight adjustment as the sight fits very tight. After sighting in the rifle with the open sights I attached a inexpensive red dot sight which proved to work very well. The top rail on the rifle presented some problem in mounting the sight but with some effort I was able to get it to mount.

What an incredible product this carbine .22 mag is. One of the best rifles that I have and super fun to shoot. I highly reccomend to anyone looking to buy a semi rimfire gun for a great price. I also ordered an extra magazine from Tanfoglio. Great service and fast delivery. Again, another great product from Buds. I intend to buy the .22 long rifle.

Great plinker. Buds was quick again. Ran 100 rounds through it so far without a hitch right out of the box. Open sights take some getting used to but grandkids did fine. Don't think I'll put a scope on it. Plan to carry it in the ATV.

Excellent service and price from Bud's. Waited to review until I was able to take the gun to the range. I own several Tanfoglio firearms and love them all. They function flawlessly and this one was another great firearm. Straight to the range without even cleaning and not a problem. Shot 150 rounds of CCI and Hornady without any problems. Added a mini reflex sight and shot 1" pattern at 50 yards once sighted in. I love the design and function of this bulpup design. If you want a semi-auto 22 magnum this is the one for you. Nice case and cleaning rod supplied with the purchase. Also purchased two additional mag's with the gun and everything worked great. Followed the booklet on disassembly and cleaned without a problem.

A seriously FUN gun! Took it to the range the day after it arrived and couldn't be more satisfied. I put a green dot laser sight on the (under) front rail and have consistent groups. Gun arrived at my FFL on day 8 after ordering and I'm satisfied with that. Good price mark from Bud's too. Quick Helper: USE THE OWNERS MANUAL TO DISSASSEMBLE because it's not like any other gun I own. Oh, and I HIGHLY recommend you NOT take the flash suppressor off: There's a nut inside the gun frame that WILL find its way into some nook or cranny. :) Semper Fi

Buds as usual was great this was the 5th weapon I have purchased with Buds and haven't been let down yet. As for the rifle. I love this gun. For an out of the box factory very accurate at 50 to 75 yards can't give exact numbers but I had no problem plinking cans and 2 liter bottles at that range and closer. The rifle feels good in hand with a very short profile being a bullpup design. For the money if you are looking for a .22 mag I highly recommend this rifle and if you like getting attention for having something just a bit different you will with this gun. Three shortfalls that should be mentioned.. First, the obvious, since it is a bullpup the trigger takes some getting used to. Its not great but not as bad as some of the other bullpups I have fired. That is the curse of all bullpups though. Second, 10 round magazines are nice but a larger size would be great to have available, plus I really hope some aftermarket company would make them as well. For each 10 round you get they are 48$ through EAA. That is ridiculous to me for a 10 round plastic magazine. And third, I have had some problems finding accessories for the rail system it seems to be just a little larger than spec. In the end I have no regrets it is a fun gun with the option to shoot right and left handed comes with a nice case and cleaning supplies and I would recommend it. Bud gets 5 stars and the gun gets a high 3 average it out to a four.
