Wonderful gun. Shoot regularly both trap and sporting clays. Never had a failure in over 4k rounds. Beautifull gun and everything I expected.

Great shotgun. Works like it should and is well made with beautiful fit and finish. As always Bud’s did a great job.

This is a beautiful semi-auto that functions as nice as it looks. Bought it in November 2015 and have now shot over a 1,000 rounds through it of a dozen brands of 1oz. and 1-1/8 oz. low brass. It always goes bang without any glitches, regardless of ammo brand. Never had a misfire, jam or hang-up of any kind. Despite being very light weight it has virtually no recoil. You’ll go through a 150 rounds before you know it because it’s such a fantastic shotgun and so easy to shoot. This was my first Browning and some folks say they are over-priced, that you’re just paying extra for the name, maybe that’s true, maybe not. All I know is most of the time you get what you pay for and it’s a real joy to shoot. On buying from Buds, I've purchased about a dozen firearms from them and never had a problem of any kind. While Buds doesn't always have the lowest price (but they usually do), they are my first stop when looking for a firearm. If I could give it a 6 star rating, I would.

wow what a great gun! beautiful wood and the engraving is excellent. i bought this to use for sporting clays only. I've had winchester 101s,autos 5s and rem 1100s and this gun is one of my favorites. very soft shooting. fit and finish is typical browning quality. I shoot 5k plus rounds of 12 gauge a year so naturally i reload and this gun has had zero issues cycling any of my reloads with shot loads as light as 7/8 oz. It was originally going to be in between the maxus sporting and the beretta a400 xcel i just couldnt get over how ugly the a400 is, and after shooting both I couldnt be happier with my choice of the maxus

Went out directly from the Gun Shop to the skeet range. Fired different charges from 24 gr to 32 with different trades of shells, and fired without any problem. A couple of friends fired the Maxus Sporting and were impressed by the well balanced / light recoil . An outstanding shotgun !!! Will buy another for field use!!!

I bought this gun from Bud's approx. 6 months ago and got the best price by far along with unsurpassed customer service. The Maxus is a gorgeous gun with awesome wood and it shoots as good, if not better than it looks. I shoot sporting clays weekly and have now fired approx. 3000 rounds through this gun. I have shot it in rain, snow, etc. and it has never malfunctioned with the exception of when I mistakingly attempted to use 3/4 oz. target loads. The book said that the gun would not cycle with those low-powered shells, but I had forgotten. If you shoot 1 oz. loads are heavier, the gun functions like a dream. I have numerous Brownings and have never been disappointed. Once again Browning hit a homerun with the Maxus and I'll probably buy the carbon fiber version to hunt with since this one is way too pretty to take in the woods!
