This is a very nice high capacity .45 ACP pistol. As far as I know, at 15 rounds per mag, it is the highest capacity .45 ACP pistol. Smooth in both DA and SA modes. Pretty good weight to it, so the recoil really isn't too bad. No doubt about it, this is a big pistol with a pretty beefy grip, but the ergonomics are good. If you have small hands, the grip may be a bit much, however. Recommended if you are looking for a nice .45 ACP pistol, that isn't a 1911 that offers only 7-8 rounds per mag.

This firearm performs very well and 15 rounds of .45 acp you just can't go wrong with that. I have a M&P 45 but wanted more capacity and this fit the bill. I can't say enough about how this gun shoots and feels. One of the best 45 ACP's I own hands down. I highly recommended.

15 rounds of .45 acp ya just can't go wrong with this really nice pistol always wanted one of these sometimes hard to find in stock but Buds came thru again really an awesome shooter right outta the box, no sight adjustment was needed! The grip texture is aggressive to say the least.

This is the least recoil .45 I have shot That's not a 3 pound 1911. Its a big gun but 15 + 1 is awesome. This thing shoots super sweat and had 0 problems in the first 250 rounds.

This firearm performs very well and having additional magazines for a reasonable price is not a bad deal. I have a 1911 but wanted more capacity and this fit the bill.

I’ve always hated having to choose between the bigger caliber .45 (my personal favorite) or the higher capacity 9mm, so when I saw this I was ecstatic. I love this gun, shoots smooth, accurate and reliable, so far only about 200 rounds through it but not a single issue so far. That being said, this is a very big and heavy gun, if you have smaller hands or are lacking upper body strength, you will have some struggles. When my wife who is smaller tried to shoot it with a full magazine she had a hard time holding it steady on target because of the weight.

I can't say enough about how this gun shoots and feels. I wear it regularly with a belly band. There's nothing like having this much brawn on your side.

Bought this in 11/16. First problem I noticed was that the magazine would not load reliably in the gun. There appeared to be a tab of some sort on the magazine that would slide between a slot in the receiver. Always had to hold it at a certain angle to get the magazine in properly. Others can attest to the accuracy. I sold the gun not long after owning it because of this problem. I can see why the government didn't want it.

Best .45 on the market in my opinion. Fit and finish is superb. I’d recommend this over the Glock 21 hands down.

Received this pistol about a week and a half after ordering from Buds. I've now put about 500 rounds without failures through the gun so far. I love the 15+1 capacity. The gun has a nice grip angle, and it's very accurate. Pretty soft shooting for a .45, it's just fun to shoot. The grip stippling is very nice and gives you a firm grip. Shooting with a tactical glove makes the gun even more enjoyable to shoot. The safety isn't the best safety I've ever dealt with- I prefer my HK USP's safety because it feels a little bit sturdier and durable. Nonetheless, I have to give this gun 5 stars. Highly recommend if you're looking for a full size battle-ready 45.

Excellent service from buds, next day shipping. can't beat that. As for the FNX45, I am 72 yrs old and have shot many different handguns, this gun is the best of them all. The 45 really does shoot like a 9 mil. It is accurate and easy to control. 5 plus stars.

My first order from Buds a FNH 66960 FNX - 45 15 + 1 45 ACP 4.5". Great price and service from Buds . The gun arrived to my local FFL dealer a few days after my transaction cleared , ready for pick up. The gun came in a hard case with 3 mag., gun lock, extra grip panel ,owners manual , FNH magnets, test round fired from gun and my rec. from Buds. Buds did a great job keeping me posted and was quick with a tracking number. The gun is accurate , feels good in the hand and 15+1 45 ACP in a combat proven ,made in the USA firearm by FNH . I bought this gun for my husband as a gift and he absolutely loves it. I can't say a bad thing about this gun. I shot it myself and I love it. As a female it is generally hrs finding a gun that fits my hands and isn't too heavy. This gun is very smooth and easy to grip. Usually 45s kick pretty good but this one doesn't have a bad recoil at all! We would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

SECOND FNX-45 PURCHASED FROM BUDS. FIRST ONE WAS A DUPO TONE THAT I GAVE MY BROTHER. THIS TIME I DECIDED TO GO WITH THE BLACK ONE. GREAT FIREARM; HOWEVER, WHEN I TOOK IT HOME IT APPEARS THAT THE INSIDE OF THE BARREL WAS STARTING TO RUST. PERHAPS FROM JUST SITTING AROUND A WARHOUSE FOREVER. TOO LATE NOW SO MY ADVISE, MAKE SURE YOU INSPECT YOUR ORDER THOROUGHLY PRIOR TO ACCEPTING. THEY SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT THE GUN AT LEAST BEFORE SHIPPING. JUST ADDED THE TRUGLO TFX NIGHT SIGHTS AND HAD A CUSTOM KT-MECH CARBON FIBER HOLSTER IWB. I THOUGH THE SETUP WAS TO BIG FOR IWB, BUT IT WORKS FINE.

I've been able to deal with a few companies for firearms purchases and in general it's been pretty good. However, Bud's stands out as being the best in my opinion.
