This stock first jumped out at me because it looked cool. I chose it before realizing that “Kicklite” actually had a recoil mitigation function built in. Does it lessen kick? Yes, absolutely! I fired it side by side with a friends regular stock and everyone was convinced of the effectiveness. This fit nicely on My Remington 870 tactical express. I easily installed it myself but didn’t realize that wod of paper inside the shell carrier contained the screws to attach it. I called Phoenix customer service and apparently I’m not the only person that accidentally throws the screws away. Happy to recommend product and of course Team Bud’s all the way.

Overall the stock is pretty nice. Easy to change out, takes maybe 5 minutes. The forend is nice, however it is shorter then the original, about an inch. Also the forend wrench that is given does not fit. the ring is set in so deep that the wrech they give wont reach it. looks fine with just the stock and original forend. Took it to the range and while there is still a good recoil to it, its more like someone pushing you rather then kicking you.
