Nice shooter and fit perfect in your hand

Love this gun! The felt recoil of .40 is negated by the extra grip and weight of this pistol. Trigger is omega, so you know it’s going to be good. Highly recommend this for full size carry or home defense.

This is an excellent full size handgun. It points well, is accurate and soft shooting. It is not made in this caliber anymore though so if you want one in .40S&W NOW is the time to get it. Solidly built and never an issue with regards to reliability after 300 rounds so far. Mine in going back out to the range with me next week. I am using the grip it came with but may go up to the next size larger. The controls are within easy reach and is a great compliment to the P07. I like my 09 in .40 so much that I bought one in 9x19 as well. I’m not sure why the .40 is not as popular as it once was but it is still an excellent cartridge for defense.

I have waited for this firearm for over 4 years now and for awhile I could not even find one for sale then I started seeing some for sale and the price was much more than I wanted to pay...Finally Bud's had it and the price was excellent with free shipping to......This firearm is a beauty and its everything that I have reviewed about it.....THe Orange model is a little more beaded up than the regular Tactical Sport...and of course I have to have it in 40 s.w. because I a going to get the Shadow 2 Orange in the 9mm that just came out....I am a CZ freak and have just about most of the handguns from them...My next gun will be the Cz Scorpion I think in 9mm.......Thanks Bud's for making my dream happen!

My first CZ, but definitely not my last. Comfortable shooter, comes with 2 mags, 3 backstrap sizes, a cleaning rod, and a bore brush. Only have 100 rounds through it, still pleased with how clean it was afterwards. I think the trigger's fine, but there are aftermarkets if you aren't as fond of it. Serrations on the slide have good bite and the sights glow in the dark (not tritium) as well, which wasn't advertised and was a pleasant surprise. I'm a southpaw, and appreciated how straightforward changing the mag release around was. Also changed out the decocker for the manual safety (Condition 1!). I have absolutely no complaints (I might just be easy) and would definitely buy it again. I'll be running a couple hundred more through it before I carry it, but I certainly don't expect any issues along the way. If you want a hammer-fired .40cal, I don't think it gets much better than this one, whether left- or right-handed. Bud's handled the transaction very professionally, as has always been my experience.

CZ firearms are some of the best in the world. Great craftsmanship, easy to disassemble and assemble. CZ's are accurate and can take a beating. Very pleased with this hand gun.

Very efficient, excellent trigger and smooth action. Solid gun and quality from CZ, highly recommend this pistol is you are looking for a side arm that run very well even when shes dirty !

Have put over 300 rounds (FMJ and HP) through it with no malfunctions. Very accurate. I love the single-action trigger on this gun! Very light and crisp.

Have not fired this weapon yet. But, the overall fit and finish is outstanding. Initial impression one of the finest pistols I have owned. Compared to Browning. Walther, Sig-Sauer, and Ruger. I purchased this weapon for $434 (cash price) the electronic check cleared and the shipped my pistol. You absolutely cannot find a better deal on this weapon AND free shipping. This pistol has the same quality fit as my Belgian Browning (Fabrique Nationale). PERIOD.

Awesome pistol! Fit and finish is absolutely perfect. Out of the box the single action trigger is very nice compared to most guns at this price. Double action is a little rough, but this is my first da/sa action pistol so I'm not too sure if it's average or just plain bad. The first time out at the range I shot 300 rounds with no problems. Sweet sweet shooter, this pistol really tames the snappiness of the .40 s&w round. It might be because the barrel seems to ride low in the frame and a little more inline with your hand. It feels no worse than my xdm9. The nice thing about is that you can change the decocker to a safety. I left mine with the decocker as it suits me better. I took this pistol down all the way and polished the sear and hammer engagement as well as a few other things and now it really sings. I read some bad reviews on this pistol and understand there is a slight chance you might get a bad one. I would encourage you to try and get it fixed if this is the case. Very nice pistol and you will not be disappointed in the end. The only con I can see is the lack of aftermarket parts. I was hoping to find a higher capacity mag, but maybe with time they'll be available.

Received this gun and very nice. Very nice large full size gun. double action is quite the squeeze but I'm used to it, carry the sig p229 .40 at work with a long double action pull. Single action is very smooth. Shoots very nice and accurate straight up to 50 meters today. Only thing I don't like about it is the slide is more narrow (narrow by from the receiver to the top of the slide vertically) then most other pistols ive used....sigs, glocks, H&K, ruger, beretta.....when you rack the slide or lock the slide to the rear it is a little awkward at first bc of the "narrower" slide it requires a firm grip.... when you rack a glock its a natural feel bc the slide is bigger but other than that I really like it. I still would prefer a glock over this but I give it 4 stars.

I received my Cz p-09 and it is everything i wanted and more.... The most important thing is gun balance A++ Couldn't ask for anything better. The sights are very eye friendly very surprised A++ I will post more on here after I go to range tomorrow.. Thank you Buds guns your staff rocks..

HORRIBLE! I have purchased and owned numerous firearms in my life and this by far is the worst. On second round of being fired, double fed and jammed, cleared jam and inspected, reloaded and on second round double fed again, this was using factory Hornady ammo. Ran second mag thru, and double fed and jammed twice thru firing of mag. Loaded again with factory Winchester, same issue. Fired 50 rounds and would double feed and jam at least twice on each mag. Also on 8th round left sight dot fell out of rear sight. I guess this is what I get for deviating from Glocks, I have a 20 year old glock with well over 10000 rounds thru, and will guarantee you no issues. I have heard good things about CZ and wanted to give them a try, was going to purchase a 75SP01, however now in no way will I even consider it. I have NEVER left a negative review before, however on this pistol, 1 star is 1 too many.
