I bought this as a project gun for my gun smithing class. I did my research and knew that citadel had some fit and finish issues. With that said, it was perfect for my needs. This is not a kimber or Wilson combat.

The frame slide fit was good, but with a little tlc it's gotten better. The serrations on the slide are very sharp. The trigger was ok and functional. The frame feed ramp and the barrel feed ramp needed a little tlc to get it it line up and feed jhp and fmj smoothly.

After a lot of work I have it working at least as well as my friends colt sieres 60. You get what you pay for. It's a fun gun to take to the range and watch other 1911 owners surprised to see how well it performs.
