Fantastic firearm. Very accurate, ergonomic for my hands. I carry mine every day, all day. This is actually the second I’ve owned. I have a black one and wanted a desert tan one too. It’s my favorite handgun due to its weight, balance, accuracy and ergonomics. I’ve had all of the “main stream” pistols (i.e. M9, G19, M1911, etc.) none of those feel right in my hand with that said everybody’s hands are different. Of course they are great guns too and I like them but this is the one for me.

Arrived quickly to the dealer. It is a brand new Sig 228 (M11), so enough said. Great pistol, speedy service, no problems.

Bought this gun from Bud's in 2015, forgot to review it, it was my first purchase. I'm reviewing it now because I just received my second purchase from Bud's and just reviewed it. Anyway this sig is my favorite 9mm in my collection and yes it was perfect when I got it. Purchase was smooth and easy and shipping was very fast. I still own it and shoot her often also price was unbeatable. If you're looking for a compact 9mm this is the Pinnacle of performance. Thanks again and looking forward to my next purchase.

Hello, My first time using your site and have had great results. The SIG M11-A1-D is one fine firearm and fits in nicely with my other SIGs, P239 and P226. I added a Crimson Trace Laser grip and had trigger work completed. My gunsmith reduced the first pull to 7 lbs. to match my other SIGs. As of today, I have shot around 200 rounds with zero malfunctions. I will be using the M11-A1 as my EDC piece. The firearm fits my hands and is extremely accurate. It's a SIG, how can you go wrong.

First time customer. The price looks like a bargain, so I bought the long desired M11-A1. Waiting time for the e-check to clear was.. well they tell us we have to wait. The gun arrived promptly after shipping, and as expected in very good shape. Bud's has a very good communication system in place and you receive status updates as well as a note the moment it arrives at the dealer. As I said, the gun looks excellent. I would have to overcome the pain I feel when thinking about shooting it. Once I do that, will update the post. Excellent job Bud's, thank you.

have a dozen or so sigs, first one from buds. since i purchased it and created an account now always having trouble pulling up website from cell or home so the next few i bought went to local gun shop for a few bucks more. the shipping and gun were good

What to say about the SIG M11A1 this isn't my first one and if you are looking at this you probably already know that its a high quality and proven pistol. As far as reliability goes you can rank this right up there with Glocks which anyone who isnt in denial will agree is the benchmark for reliability. If you're thinking about this pistol you better jump on it because they have been discontinued in this configuration. Also this does come with three mags the person I spoke to at Bud's said two.

I have done quite a bit of studying before making this purchasing this firearm the sigs have a great reputation the m11 a1 is by far one or the finest hand gun by far accurate right out of the box loves any ammo I use the + p ammo in mine and works great if you want a hand gun that is beyond the best this one is for you I am also going to purchase the big brother to this p227 In 45 acp the sigs are expensive but worth every penny hope this helps with your decisions e

Love the pistol. Couldn't be happier with the gun and Bud's shipping. Only issue is they ship FedEx and they're never on time. That's FedEx's fault Bud's had the gun ready to go very quickly

The gun shipped NIB with three magazines. Unfortunately, the Cerakote finish had a flaw and was chipped off in two places near the grip. I had to send it back to Sig and will be waiting approximately 6 weeks until I get it back. Quite a let down.

4th order from Bud’s and all have been trouble free transactions. Very quick processing and shipping. The Sig M11-a1d arrived within 48 hours. I asked the dealer what his best price would be on the same gun (he had exact model in the case) and it was 40% higher than Bud’s. Contrary to the above user response to questions asked, this Sig M11-A1-D (Desert) In fact, DOES come with Phosphate Coated Internals, night sights, 3 mags, and MIL-STD UID label. Same gun as the standard black with the exception of the Desert Cerakote finish. Reliability and quality are outstanding. Zero FTE or FTFs. A must have.

Received my Sig M 11 quickly. I love the color and the grips on this gun. The trigger is metal as mil-spec guns usually are, along with coated internals for salt water submersion. Accurate out of the box, but stiff in need of more break in. Seems like tighter specs than my other 229. Double action trigger pull is in need of more break in. I hope to collect a Sig MK 25 also and all my guns will come from Bud's. Can't beat their prices and service. They had the best price of anywhere I shopped. Completely satisfied.

If your a Sig lover, this M11-A1 needs to be in the collection especially if you like FDE or Desert colored firearms. It has a beautiful Desert finish, bright siglite night sights, and its a all around great feeling gun. The DA is a little heavy for my liking but the SA trigger pull smoothed things over. The gun DOES COME WITH 3 MAGAZINES, even though Buds has it listed as only 2. I'm really happy with this purchase and I would buy it again twice. See my video review on youtube TexasGunGuy8244. Love everything about this gun but the Short Reach Trigger.. Knew in advance that I would have to change it so I'm not knocking other than to say I'd prefer the Full Reach Trigger. Trigger pull is smooth and crisp, gun runs like a champ just like you expect from Sig. I've heard that FDE finish has some issues but this gun it's fine. I plan on using this gun for Concealed EDC once I swap the trigger, so I wasn't expecting a pretty gun. Accuracy is all Sig..

I purchased this pistol earlier this year and had hand surgery in Feb. The trigger pull on the DA was very stiff. I measured it with a fishing scale and it was 14 lbs. I called Sig and explained the long hard trigger pull and that it wasn't breaking until almost touching the back trigger guard. Sig sent me a FexX label and I returned it to Sig. In two weeks the pistol was returned to me with the following: "adjusted trigger take up, measured 11.25 pounds, (no wonder my fish seemed to weigh heavy) adjusted to 8 on DA and SA measured 5.5 pounds, adjusted to 4. I shot it yesterday and it was just fantastic. Very smooth on DA now and the short reset is just that, a very short reset with quick follow on shots. This is my third Sig. If you are not happy for any reason (I noticed an earlier review mentioning extractor issues) just call the folks at Sig and they will take care of it. I'd give the factory folks a chance to make it right. They sure did by me. Overall, I am very pleased with my Buds transaction and with my new Sig M11 and their customer support shop.

Excellent pistol. Great deal from Buds! This will be my new carry weapon, as I trust its reliability. Took it out to the range and had zero issues. It ate all the ammo of varying grains (albiet all were brass), and chucked the casings in a consistant direction. Highly recommended!

This Sig M11A1 is a very good shooter and the ergonomics are excellent. I fired 170 rounds of FMJ and 30 rounds of JHP without any malfunctions. The accuracy is also very good at 7, 10 and 15 yards. It seems to be a very reliable firearm and constructed of high quality materials.
