I absolutely love my new Kahr CT45 . I took it apart to clean the factory grease and oils from it , learning to assemble it also and lubricanted it at the same time . Then locked the slide open on it over night to decrease the spring tension and loaded the mags to max capacity. This works the springs to start shooting with softer springs and giving it better break-in affect. The first shots out of my gun were flawless, and very controllable. Thank you budsgunshop for the painless purchase of my new gun !!

I'm a kahr guy and I have nothing bad to say about this ct45 is a good pistol feels goon n the hands very accurate small recoil considering is a 45acp pistol grip is a big long but over all is a good pistol

Pros: Light and fills the hand when shooting. It carries 7+1 easily and is such a good looking pistol. NS are no issue as Kahr has begun to make Night Sights for these models. Interchanges with the more expensive model. so its easily upgraded. Great Price. Cons: Night Sights just need to be in stock more. This pistols longer grip allows for so much better control and recoil management.

Very nice pistol, one of my favorite concealed carry guns. Never jammed for me and quite accurate considering my lousy aim. I would recommend this semi-automatic to anyone looking for a easy to conceal, light weight handgun.

Excellent pistol after broken in.

I was recommended this guy from a co worker. So I figured I would purchase it. The gun looks and feels great but the problem I'm having is it continuously jams. Granted it could be the ammo I'm running through it. Which is blazer brass. Plan on trying different ammo. Will update review then. But nonetheless it looks and feels great. I want to thank budsgunshop for the speedy delivery also.

I have long enjoyed shooting the venerable .45 ACP. Most of my .45's are collectible Colt's; 1911 and Model O variants, single actions. The CT45 is a single stack double action. From their website: Trigger cocking DAO; lock breech; "Browning - type" recoil lug; passive striker block; no magazine disconnect. The firearm feels great in the hand. It has a full stock, slim but not too thin to hold firmly. And though the gun is light, it has enough weight and balance to tame recoil. No fancy 'today' features such as a blade trigger, dust cover rail system or combat trigger guard - the firearm is form and function. Fit and finish is deceptively excellent for a gun of this price. As with the vast majority of Kahr's, reliability is built right in. Exceptional pistol from an exceptional seller; Bud's!

Great price on a fine firearm. Love this as it handles well, no jamming and has that special authority that only a .45 offers as a conceal carry.

I have waited a long time to own a Kahr. On my first outing I must say I was very disappointed! This gun may have the worst trigger I have ever shot, worst of which is the reset. I contacted Kahr to see if there is a drop-in trigger replacement or upgrade. They said no, and in fact are proud of their trigger system. REALLY! Finally, increase the price by $15 and include a second magazine. I don't feel good about being beat up by after market accessory costs. I believe in " Buy American" but I can't recomend Kahr.

fast shipping from buds gun as always! the gun is light and reliable, can't complain. will be used as trail/camp gun in south FL. compared to other brand, accessory are unfortunately more scarce. If you are planning on using commercially available hard cast loads in it, be aware, Buffalo Bore outdoors man 255g does not work in this gun. regards

Well it's been over a month now, and I have had plenty of time for a full review. Over all I would rate this gun a 9.0 out of a possible 10. Shoots good, shoots straight, and have had not a single jam with over 500 rounds through it. I would not hesitate to own another. If you want a true 45 without the high cost, I would like to suggest a Kahr. Under $400.00 you can't beat this gun.

Love this little gun! Absolutely no issues with it and I have shot over 200 rounds thru it so far without any FTF using both 230 FMJ and 200 HP. This will be my primary carry gun.

I absolutely love the CT45..its light weight.. and for it to be low cost, the build quality is great. Doesnt feel cheap at all. Now as far as shooting, I did have trouble with the sights at first, but when i did a little research I was able to get the hang of it. The recoil is not that bad with the CT45..it shoots like a dream. My only gripes with this gun is it only holds 7 1 and it only comes with 1 magazine other then that Kahr did a great job with this hand gun.

Took delivery Of the Kahr .45 caliber last week and couldn't wait until I could hit the range. Read all the reviews and watched all the You Tube videos concerning this pistol. I have to say I sure wasn't disappointed in any way. Feels good in the hand shoots straight no hang up's at all shooting 65 rounds. What impressed me the most was the smoothness of the trigger, it was the best I have ever felt. Between the price and the operation makes this the one to buy, you just can't go wrong. I do have one suggestion and something I did was install Sandpaperpistolgrips You can find them on Ebay. Make sure there from Sandpaperpistolrgrips and not Tractiongrips. I bought the Tractiongrips first and they are good buy and does help with the aggressive feel of the grips but the Sandpaperpistol grips give you much more then just wrapping the front of the grips. Just look and you will see. In closing I made the right choice and will now set my sights on the Kahr 9 mil... Hope this helps.

Great gun for a real low price shoot a 100 rounds in frist few days now my brother wants one too.

This was my first Kahr pistol, and not having any real familiarity with their firearms I had no preconceived notions or expectations. Now I will preface this be saying that I am primarily a single action 1911, or polymer striker fired (Glock/M&P/Springfield) kinda guy. So I'm used to short trigger pulls and short resets. Needless to say, the first time I pulled the trigger on this piece I pulled low anticipating the shot (it is a long trigger pull). However, I was amazed at how smooth and moderately weighted the trigger was. It didn't take long for me to master the pull. It took a little more time to master the long reset for an accurate, quick follow up shot. But with a little practice, it can be mastered. The light weight of the pistol makes it great for CCW, but also makes it a handful with stout 45ACP rounds. Nothing unbearable though, and with practice completely controllable. Yes, it has plastic sights, and the front is not dovetailed, so replacing them is probably not feasible. But as a Glock shooter, I'm not completely opposed to polymer sights. Bottom line, after about 200 rounds through it this has become one of my favorite guns.

Ordered on 9/16/2015 and received at my FFL on 9/18/2015. I expected at least a week before delivery. First time to order from Buds and I am very pleased with the order process and fast delivery. This was my first Kahr and the firearm is better than I expected. The trigger is very smooth with no creep. The reset is long but that is part of the safety aspect. I did have some problem with getting used to the sights but once I did the firearm shot straight to the point of aim. Being older and my hands are not as strong the slide was very easy to rack. So far I have had no FTF. etc. I have had pistols costing triple the price and had all kinds of problems. The pistol is very tight and Kahr says to have a break in period of 200 rounds. Take down is OK once I got used to it and the machining on the slide is first rate. It fits my hand and the recoil is very light for a .45. I am very pleased with Kahr and with Buds and I will buy from them in the future.

Picked up yesterday and put 100 rounds through today. No problem feeding or ejecting. I used Winchester 230 grain ammo. Very accurate once I realized how to use the sights .Good buy.

Firearm: Kahr CT45 ~ Awesome! A .45 ACP pistol for $335 with Kahr quality and craftsmanship. Great trigger, shoots where you aim, it has a slim, single stack grip, and it's very well-balanced. It's also a helluva a lot easier to point and aim than my 1911. I picked it up yesterday from Arma Ind. in Ashland, KY and put 150 rds of ball through it today at K-Hill indoor range in Kitts Hill, OH. I had no problems with the gun, whatsoever. I don't know how they sell this kind of quality for the price. I am more than pleased with this firearm. This is my first Kahr but definitely not my last.
