Not the greatest gun....the slide doesn't come back to form after I shoot it, gun was cleaned and oiled too. I would not buy this gun again.

Great gun and great size, shoots well but love my G3C better.

My usual EDC firearm. Slim and comfortable to carry. Nice to shoot. Extra magazine adds to feeling of security. Buds did an excellent job of getting it to my FFL, as always. No complaints.

Mine had failure to feed issues and I sold it. It was a great size and perfect for CC. If you get lucky and it feeds your ammo then it's a fine gun. Unlucky for me.

I bought this to have a small cheap pistol to leave in my semi truck. this fits that bill perfectly. It is pretty accurate, and runs on any type of 9mm ammo. Cant ask for much more.

This is a great little gun for the money. I love the stainless steel and it carries concealed very easily. Lots of fun to burn ammo!! My grandsons and I went through 300 rounds on the range the first day I got it. Not one glitch. Reliable, safe, and very easy to disassemble for cleaning and lubing. Rear sights would not bring it to center of aim but different ammo may. Really a point and shoot PP handgun anyway. Good to 15 feet or so.

Put about 200 rounds through this little gun and every one went bang, had a little problem shooting 3 inches left found front sight was turned a little and since that adjustment hitting 5 inch group. I like this weapon a lot and recommend it highly........just bought a 790 40cal on sale for 201$ I'm a Taurus guy now....

At first i was skeptical on such a small Taurus but as I picked it up from my FFL i was surprised. It actually had some heft to it. In addition to the ergonomic satisfaction, I took it to the range and put a couple hundred rounds through it and had no jams or issues. I even limp wrist a few shots and still no jams. Accuracy is all you can ask for on a compact firearm. I highly recommend.

This is a hard hitting pistol that has a mild recoil and is perfect for CC. this is my second one. The only thing i wish were improved would be the trigger. It is long and less refined than say a Beretta but for the money it will do.

Worst Taurus firearm I ever bought. Extractor issues with everything I feed it. It's on its way to Miami for the second time. It wasn't repaired the first time. At least Taurus pays the shipping both ways and on the first trip Taurus let my 3 year old Judge accompany it for free. They did repair that one.

Great carry Gun , for the price. Small but has a great kick. It is a 9mm and it is my conceal carry Gun , only bad thing it only comes with one clip.

I bought 2 of these almost a year ago. Each came with a inexspensive hard sided case. I didn't buy the gun for the case and at the buds price I paid didn't really care ($266 per pistol) both of mine came with 2 mags. The finish and quality of the pistols was fine. Brushed stainless slide seems to have held up to the last year of holster wear pretty nice. Shooting it...I had a few ftf and fte problems using the cheap reloads at the range, no trouble on factory FMJ or self defense ammo. I'm carrying HST 124grain now, and it fired fine. I have some 147gr hst p I haven't tried yet, the pistol is rated to P but on all taurus arms they do warn to minimize it's use, there's a funny line in the manual about "only use it if you need it". I wouldn't practice with it much - just enough to make sure it's working ok in the pistol. The grip is thin and short. However, that's part of why it's such a great IWB carry piece. I have medium size hands and my pinky doesn't fit on the grip very well. However, it doesn't affect my ability to hold it or use it. Anything longer would make it more difficult to conceal. I wouldn't consider this a pocket pistol, just a subcompact 9mm single stack. It's competitively priced, and does the job for which it is intended: concealable self defense pistol capable of hitting center of mass on a human target less than 50ft away. My only criticism is the trigger. It has a bit of a long empty pull before you hit the friction point and fire. I prefer the trigger action on the TCP which has a pull that has some friction throughout the entire pull. It's not uncommon, and I worry much more about fear or adrenaline affecting my ability to use the firearm in an emergency, than the trigger pull. However my wife notices it when comparing pistols at the range.

My Taurus PT 709 Slim was a good buy, it is a solid gun that is easy to operate and understand. This is my first firearm I have ever purchased and I feel it is a very good starter gun for someone looking for something on the cheaper side that is still reliable and a straight shot. It fits in the hand nicely, the only problem with the size is that my pinky finger doesnt have a solid place to rest, it fits on the edge of the bottom of the handle, but there are grip extenders for amazon for them for $10 that is worth looking into. The gun was easy to disassemble and clean and put back together, no problems there. Two things that I did not like. 1. on the side of the barrel and the inside of the slide there was this hardened glue like substance that was stuck onto it, I had to scrape the hardened glue off and it scratched that barrel a little bit. Not a big deal, just an inconvenience for me. 2. I thought I was getting a better and cheaper deal by buying the Taurus PT 709 Slim online from Buds, but then I did not realize that the transfer fee to actually get the gun from my local store would be so expensive, it was $40. Just check the store you are looking to pick it up from in order to try and get a good deal. Overall I love the gun, good buy. good bye.

Awesome everyday carry...just be sure and clean right out of the box. Fits unnoticed in appendix carry belly band. Shoots straight and true, hardly any muzzle flip, easy to strip down to clean. Awesome value!

As usual Bud's shipping to my FFL was very fast... Picked up the pistol and went right to the range.. 100rds mixed FMJ and JHP down the tube without one problem... I was very surprised, but very happy too. The trigger is very good, but does take a little time to get use to it. Long take up, then you hit the wall and fire. Accurate at 30 feet to the point I am very comfortable using this as my CCW..

Nice pistol, very concealable. I cannot seem to find a spare magazine for it.

Great guns! I bought 2. One for my wife and one for me. We both have cc permits and were looking for dependable concealed carry pistols. We took them to a local range and ran about 75 rounds thru them. Both functioned flawlessly. The accuracy is amazing for a gun with only a 3" barrel. I carry mine in my front pants pocket and hardly notice that it is there. We both love our new Taurus slims.

Bud's shipping was fast and efficient. I took the gun straight from the FFL counter and went into the range. The gun performed flawlessly even thought I had not cleaned or oiled it. I couldn't wait to try it out. The gun shot straight to the point of aim every time. I love the DA/SA feature. Even though the gun is light and very thin, the recoil was very reasonable. I highly recommend this gun to anyone wanting a value-priced, fine quality gun that is perfect for CCW or any other application. I have had this gun for abt 6 months now. I go to the range once a week for practice. It has never had FTE, FTF, or any other problems.

I purchased this piece and just loved the feel. I put over 100 rds though it. No problems at all. This is a great ccw piece and easy to conceal. The wife can handle this one too. We like this model so much I purchased a 2nd one. Buds is always awesome with my FFL guy! Buds does a great job. !!
