This brand get a bad rep, but I am very pleased with the product. Smoothed out the internals a bit and runs great! I would buy another if I found one

Worst AK every by Worst AK manufacturers. Shot first 5 rounds through it when the upper wood receiver came halfway off. The gun has cheap parts. Has a cast iron trunnion which is super cheap and can blow up because it can't handle the pressure the all gives out. Look it up. If you get this ak you been warned

IO AK47 Classic. What do you want in an AK47? Reliable? Looks good? Good trigger pull? Good build quality? Priced right? Fun to shoot? I've gotten all that with my IO AK47C! The first day I got it I've run over 400 rounds thru it with NO problems! Yes, I've read the reviews, seen the youtube videos, heard the stories but I still bought one to add to my collection (I didn't have one with a wood stock) and I'm VERY happy with it. Quality of the build is the most important to me and this rifle was built correctly. All USA built right in my home state, great warranty - can't go wrong with that. The trigger pull is the lightest of any AK I've ever shot and the features like a side scope mount and classic wood is just a bonus. Like movie reviewers, everyone has an idea of what they like and don't like - myself included - but I feel that this AK is priced right and is built right. Give it a try. Phoenixmsb

The firearm I received was really nice looking. The front sight post cracked for no reason. I called the company and a receptionist said she would send me a replacement and that is was easy to install. Ireceived the sight and it did not have the holes needed to install the sight. I called again and was transferred to tech support. The guy I talked to said he was in purchasing. He told me that tge wrong part was sent. It should be noted that the part was sent postage due. He saidd the factory was re-tooling. He coukd give ne mo time frame for them to repair the gun if I sent it back to the company. He said he would call me back yesterday to let me know if they could send me the correct part. Be careful if you purchase from this company.

Got my gun fast. I have shot around 200 rounds and the gun is accurate. My next purchase will be from Buds.

I was concerned about the quality of the AK47C when I saw the price, but I purchased it. I was pleased when it arrived and I cleaned it. Well built with good standard (US) parts. My wife and I went to the range, shot over 300 rounds through it between us, and no malfunctions. The only major issue I had is --- my wife liked it too much. My wife is a 5ft 0/130lbs woman by the way. Now I am planning on getting another one after I lighten up the furniture and put a folding stock for my wife. Great gun!!! Great price!!!

Picked up from my FFL about 4 days after order. First look at gun was amazon but I did noticed I didn't get a cleaning rod. That's not buds fault I have made contact with I.O. INC they are suppose to send me one. The weapon comes in a card board box not a plastic case with two really cheap Mags that doesn't even hold the correct capacity of 30 rounds. Weapons fired fine with no fails. I took a chance with the weapon it has had mix reviews. But Buds Gun Shop is the middle man and not the maker of this weapon so I cant hold them reliable for it. This is around my 6th gun purchase for the company and they are still number 1. (Fast Shipping)

Received rifle fast as usual from Buds. The rifle looks absolutely great! The wood looks awesome and the finish on the metal looks great! The mag well was VERY tight with surplus metal mags and pmags. I had to file the mag release tab down some to get the mags to lock in. Now they all snap in TIGHT with zero wiggle. The 2 IO mags are absolute garbage! I threw them in the trash, get pmags or surplus to use. The rifle is surprisingly accurate out of the box, I've run over 500 rds through it with zero issues.

I got the rifle in about a week,The rifle looks good and functions perfect but the mags are shit i recommend buying pmags or some surplus other than that good rifle accurate i would give it 5 star's but the mags are very cheap and are not reliable

Have to say that Buds delivered once again. This IO AK has a beautiful set of wood furniture that I wasnt expecting. Everything about the firearm seems to be very well made, now its time to take it out and try it. Thanks Buds

I ran 200 rounds through it with zero issues. My only complaint is that the hand guard loosened up a little and there were a couple blemishes on the finish but keep in mind this isn't a $1000 AK. Very reliable so far with no issues to report. It's way more accurate than I thought it would be. I had a 3 1/2 inch grouping at 15yards. So far I'm very happy with the gun and price. Although I.O. has had some issues in the past at this point I wouldn't hesitate to make another I.O. purchase.
