This is a solid AK. Optics not needed and only way you destroy this thing is with a tank!! First model that I have tried that was not an automatic that I had the pleasure and terror of using at a much younger age while living in the Middle East. Parts are well made and has not failed in a modest 50 round or so test. Tucks away nicely in the house. Buds was professional and had a quick processing and delivery time. Get one at this price if they are not gone already!

This AK63D is a sweet gun it shoots right on, Have had no problems with it at all.

If your in the market for an under folding AK this is the best deal going. If your on the fence just go for it you won't be disappointed. It has beautiful wood furniture and a solid milled receiver. It shoots great and I have never had an issue with it.

Man was I excited to receive my Century Arms 63D under folder AK, Buds gun Shop sent it faster than I thought they would which is awesome now the rifle is beautiful no marks on the furniture or the milled receiver, the fold under stock however is very stiff as well as the safety which I imagine in time will loosen up, thanks to buds I got the rifle for a fair price could I have found it cheaper maybe but why bother with crowds and lines at gun shows, it could have not been easier buds rocks and their customer service is excellent they actually listen and are very friendly and with price match excellent option, and in case you don't know they have a extended life time warranty for a fair price I would highly recommend it just remember that it covers repairs that may be a manufacture problems not if you drop or modify the rifle and screw up, outside of that the 63D shoots like a dream I zeroed it pretty quickly but recommend the sight tool its cheap and you will need it and a good tool to have available especially if you really run your Ak a lot and do tactics, if your looking for a really nice authentic AK look no further. Lightning fast shipping from Buds, as usual. Rifle looks very nice- a couple of minor scratches in the parkerizing,but nothing major. Wood furniture is beautiful. Included 2 mags,cleaning kit and oil bottle. Have not shot it yet,but overall, the rifle appears to be very nice,and the folding stock locks in as it should,which is tightly.Century also seems to be upping their game in the packaging department. In the past, products I've received from them arrived in a plain (and almost always damaged) cardboard box. This rifle arrived in a new, fancy logo box,foam padding on both sides,and also had an outer shipping box. Very good packaging. So far, very pleased. Tough to find a better milled lower rifle for this kind of investment imho.

I like the rifle, not crazy about the appearance of the furniture i like the look of my Waser better the wood looks more authentic.

Love this AK! I was initially disappointed after the first trip to the range. The trigger was not resetting. It only took the slightest flick of my finger forward to reset, and continue to fire, so it wasn’t my greatest concern. It would still function, although slower… Even if I had to replace the trigger, that would be a simple job for a gunsmith, and I could probably do it myself. I would be VERY concerned if there were any issues with Failure to Feed, Failure to Fire, Failure to Eject, etc. Those are the problems that could get me killed in a self defense situation, and the reason I wanted an AK to begin with. A quick google search indicated that the sturdy American Tapco trigger spring that Century Arms uses sometimes has a problem with a bend on the right side which can be easily fixed with a pair of needle nosed pliers. There are a couple of YouTube videos that can step you through it. Next trip to the range…no problems at all. Nice! The under folder design is stiff and solid. I wrapped the cheek side with military grade para cord for a warmer contact point. The safety however, is difficult to access in the folded position. I keep mine folded on "FIRE" but without a round chambered. It folds to just over two feet (26’’). Fits in a tennis bag! Now, with the trigger issue resolved, I would trust my life with this AK more than I would with my AR-15. No problems with cheap ammo either!

The AK63D is near perfect, excellent finish, very nice hand guards, Awesome job Century! I am impressed with the build quality, and right out of the box accuracy of this rifle! Wow this is the best buy you can get for an AK! All milled receiver, mine came with beautifully finished wood furniture. The internals are all well made very slight machine marks. The finish is uniform. Why buy C39 when you can get this for about 200 less lately?

I received my AK63D today and I am very pleased with it. I have yet to fire it but I love the fit and finish of this rifle. It is solid and looks great. For the price of this rifle I can't see how anyone could go wrong with one of these.

As always fast shipping. Finish on it had some scratches furniture was a little scratched and not a great finish. Missing from what was listed was muzzle cover and blank loaders, however it did have a sling that was not listed. Fires smooth and true right out of the box. Satisfied with it as fires like an ak should. If your looking for a great looking finish this isn't the one for you but if your looking for a reliable ak for a good price then you'll want to add this one to your collection. Lower handguard was pretty beat up and the pistol grip had a scuff but the upper handguard looked new. Finish is a matte black that feels like it could rub off just by touching it. The under folder locking mechanism is nice and tight. I tried a 3 different mags and all of them lock up tight with no wobble. All in all I'm satisfied with the rifle.

Its an ak. The bolt is super smooth. The finish however on mine was a little sloppy. The barrel had a scratch on it and it was basically like your basic wasr non-shiny, matte black finish. Wish I had known this before I purchased it. The wood was on there as pictured. And it came with 2 different plastic mags. One of them was shaky in the mag well and the other was solid. I use metal surplus mags with it and those were also shaky. The stock felt okay for a folding stock. Buds was great as always, I refer anyone to this site when they want a gun in 10 days or less. Ill give it a 3 out of 5 since i think it is overpriced and isn't chrome lined barrel. And no side saddle for a rail mount.
