  • can any one give me their opinion on how much the slide spring resistance is on racking the slide back on the PX4 Storm, light , medium, or strong ? thx for any info

  • Hi Doug and welcome. Spring tension is moderate for racking. A good technique I taught my wife to vastly improve racking on a semi-auto firearm is to pull the slide while simultaneously pushing the grip in the opposite direction. Most folks naturally hold the grip stationary and pull just the slide and must overcome 100% spring tension. This technique cuts 30 to 40% off the overall rack effort. Cheers and stay safe!
