I purchased this for my wife for Valentine’s Day. She had always had a revolver but we wanted to get her something that would hold more rounds. After lots of discussions with friends and people who ran shooting ranges we settled on the Smith and Wesson Equalizer. It’s easy to chamber and easy to load the ammunition into the mags. These are the main two reasons we purchased this gun. We couldn’t be happier dealing with Buds and they have great prices and ship quickly.

This purchase from Buds I ordered online and pickup the pistol in Sevierville. The handgun was to be easy to rack with ears and excellent serrations. I own a shield plus so the mags were interchangeable. The Equalizer had numerous advantages over the shied plus; racking, grip, and two big differences that I was looking for; a barrel that was between 3.5 & 3.75 inches plus front serrations. Good price and fast shipping from Buds.

This little carry piece is one of the best I have seen. I also happen to be a fan of the full size M&P series pistols. The three different mags are an interesting touch, especially with the vast differences in hand size among all peoples. I definitely prefer the 13 round mag, myself. The grip texture is very aggressive, almost like a pumice stone, which I do like. The recoil is what you would expect out of a 9mm compact pistol, and the slide is very easy to rack. Overall I would give this a full five stars on shootability, ergonomics, and appearance.

Another great quality purchase from Buds. They always provide great service and support. The Equalizer is my 5th S&W purchase. Love their quality and competitive pricing. I already own the S&W 9mm EZ, but thought I'd add the Equalizer to my collection. Very happy with the purchase. It racks easily, just as advertised. I added a green dot sight and it's the perfect carry gun. You won't be disappointed in this purchase!

  • Q: Can I buy a handgun from a place outside of TX?

    Ethen, yes sir, you can buy a handgun, but it must be shipped to a FFL in your home state. You choose a FFL near you during checkout, and Bud's will send the gun there. You will pick up gun after filling out appropriate paperwork.
