No, while the Ruger AR-556 MPR is compatible with many standard AR-15 parts, including most magazines, it does not use a true "M16 BCG"; it has its own proprietary bolt carrier group designed specifically for the MPR, which is optimized for the rifle-length gas system used on the MPR model.   Hi Jerome, this is chambered & rated for 5.56 NATO, so it will safely shoot both 5.56 NATO and .223 REM, or simply 5.56 & .223

  Albert, even without the magazine, this cannot pass the mustard test in CT.   Yes this comes with 1-30 rd gen M2 PMag, this is the 1st AR I ever bought and still one my favorites, it is great rifle and its built like a tank. I took off the muzzlebrake on mine and replaced it with a flash suppressor ( muzzle brake is nice but is to loud for a home deffense rifle) you will need to throw some sights or an optic on, as this rifle is "optics ready" but other then that this rifle is accurate, reliable, and fun to shoot as any out there.

• Q: Hello, can you guys ship to Colorado with a smaller mag as a swap replacement instead of the standard 30 rnd mag?

  Buds has said that if the capacity is the only issue they will remove the mags and ship the firearm without it. They don't swap them, but you can still get the firearm and then get the 15rd or less mags locally or online.

  Gabriel, No the muzzle device is not pinned or welded on. The rifle has an SBN treated threaded barrel that can have any 1/2-28 thread pitch muzzle device installed.

  Ray, yes in Pennsylvania. Layaway is a is just a few easy steps - just add item to your cart - Select Checkout - Select your FFL - Select Checkout option "Layaway" - Select checkout method for min of 20% down payment - Once down payment is made your layaway is complete. Within the 90 day period you can pay little by little or all at once at the end. Buds will charge $10 fee after 30 Days and another $15 after 60 Days for a total $25 layaway fee.
