Folks have gotten firearms shipped to AK. I don't know why ammunition would not be as well. If your source is adamant on this, you can always have your local FFL simply order this for you.

Should be able too. I'd go through a checkout with it and see if it allows it.

Scott, you should be able to have ammunition shipped to you. If you source says no, that would be strange. If your FFL is a Class 3 Dealer, they would be able to order/acquire any factory ammunition you need. I've never heard of an FFL Dealer who could not order/acquire ammunition. Buds ships firearms to AK FFL dealers all the time.

Bud's is not able to ship ammo outside of the Continental US due to hazmat issues. Same thing with stuff like pepper spray and and other pressurized aerosol spray products.
