I usually shy away from Promag products as they are generally inferior to eom magazines. Can anyone attest to Promag vs. FN with respect to this particular magazine in aspects other than price?? Price means little if it doesn't fit and function as it should....

I have heard mixed reviews on Promag.  I totally agree that if it does not work it is a waste of money.  The FN mags will work, and if they cost more, what is your life worth.

I don't own any FNs I've used promags for Smith and Wessons and Rugers, and they have been absolute garbage, I've had spirngs and feed lips break inexplicably, and without much use. I've had fantastic experiences with Magpul Pmags and lancer mags for my AR-15 but other then those 2 I avoid getting anything other then Factory OEM. 
Also you didn't link to any specific magazine, what FN does it go with?
