James, any standard AR-15 magazine in 5.56/.223 will work no issue. Cheers and stay safe!
Hi, All AR-15 magazine in 5.56/.223 are interchangable. I recommend STANAG magazine, magpul, lancer mag, etc. Avoid Promag as they are hit and miss. I hope this helps.
The Smith and Wesson M&P Sport II (.223 / 5.56 ) is compatible with most standard AR15 components and accessories You can get mags for the AR15 made of Aluminum, Metal, and Polymer. If you plan on storing your mags loaded at max capacity, and/or if there is a possibility that your mags will be regularly dropped/roughed up or ran over because it fell out of your truck for instance. Then you should go with the PMAG which is made of high-grade impact-resistant polymer (made by Magpul). Metal will eventually get dented up if you are rough on them. Also, if you decide to go with the PMAG and will be storing them loaded you should use the PMAG dustcovers as well. Magpul also claims that a PMAG stored with a dust cover has an indefinite shelf life. I've also seen some people use Aluminum Magazines with Magpul Followers Ultimately, the type you decide to go with all boils down to personal preference.
yes they will all fit I use Pmags and troy battlemags in my sport II
