Can you (Buds gunsmith service) modify the 12 rd mag to 10 to make it NJ legal? Or would I require 10 rd mag OEM. Thanks.

Thomas, Bud's does not do modifications for internet sales. (They will not even send them to your FFL for compliance work, it must be NJ legal when it leaves Bud's) They will remove the magazine for you, but it will be up to you replace them. If you opt for this, during checkout, after you choose your FFL, a box will pop up asking if you want the magazines removed. As a fellow NJ resident, I feel your pain.

Buds unfortunately doesn't offer magazine pinning service. They do however offer high capacity magazine removal, if you add this to your cart after check out it'll ask if you'd like to remove the high capacity magazines, select yes, then buds can sell you the gun. No, buds won't modify the magazine or replace it. They will remove the magazine but then you have to purchase a 10 round magazines separately. Sorry and hope this helps.

Any .45acp regardless of maker is going to have a pretty heavy spring. You may want to consider a 9mm … they have lighter recoil springs and are generally easier to rack. Check into the S&W EZ models … they have been designed to be easier to rack and shoot.

Danny, Racking this slide is pretty much like any other semi auto handgun. Nothing EZ about it.

Hi Alex, They're the same except for the magazines. This comes with (2) 12 round magazines while the 2807077 comes with (2) 10 round magazines. The above model also has way more in stock which makes the price much lower as well. Buds prices are lower when more items are in stock. Fewer in stock items means prices are higher. Buds uses an automatic inventory price update engine that runs every 20mins. Prices are tied directly to stock levels and will change as stock numbers change. As inventory numbers go down, prices go up and vice-versa. Usually when popular items get low in stock.

I’m new to this site. I’m wondering how it works with guns that come with magazines with over a 10 rd capacity. I see this comes with two 12-round mags. Are those replaced somehow or am I not able to order this?

Hi Eric, They will only ship 10 round magazines to Ca as thats the max we're allowed here. Other states it handles 12 rounds just fine. Since it' comes with 12 it isn't Ca Compliant.

Eric, California will not allow shipment of any magazine capacity over 10rds. Unfortunately Buds does not open or alter firearms packages. The firearm must come compliant from the manufacturer at Buds. I wish they would change them for you but they just don't by policy.

The PPQ (Police Pistol Quick Defense Trigger) M2 series of handguns represents the pinnacle of Walther centerfire innovation, engineering and technology. I like this firearm. It shoots great and is very ergonomic. The only complaint I have is that it's a much larger gun than it looks like in the picture. Understand that it's a doublestack 45, but wow. Other than that, it's fine.

This pistol is my first 45 caliber. If your shooting mechanics are sound { shot anticipation, pulling low left etc} this weapon right out of the box is a tack driver!!! I have just about 1,000 rounds through it without a hitch in performance. If you're looking for a striker fired 45 caliber you won't be disappointed!

I carry the PPQ M2 SC in 9MM and was given the option to carry a .45 ACP so why not go with the best! The Walther grip is the best on the market, the trigger is clean and the recoil is not that much more than a standard 9MM. My only upgrade was night sights. This is the apex of .45ACP firearms.

Went to qualify for my NM CCW on the range. I tried using the S&W 10mm I've carried for 20 years but was so inaccurate I failed qual within the 1st 10 rounds (8 of 10 off target). I guess I'm not as strong as I was when 35 or 45 so couldn't control it. My instructor suggested trying a different handgun and lent me this one. Easily qualified with 22 of 25 shots on target. I liked the way it shot so much I found a new carry weapon (this). Bud's had a really good price, so I bought here. This gun shoots like a dream with a very light trigger pull and tiny reset for next shot. Recoil is easily managed. Buy this gun. You won't go wrong.

Bought this after much deliberation over trying to find a quality steel-frame double stack .45 and coming up snake eyes unless I wanted to put down car down payment money. This thing shoots far better than my FN 545, less snappy/violent, the grip texture doesn’t rip into my hands, and the trigger doesn’t make figuring out when the slop is going to convert to break a per-round part of the shooting experience. Solid quality for the price - I just wish they had a PDP in .45 so I could thrown an optic on it. :)

Q: I’m new to this site. I’m wondering how it works with guns that come with magazines with over a 10 rd capacity. I see this comes with two 12-round mags. Are those replaced somehow or am I not able to order this?
