As a young guy, freshly married, I had to make payments on my RUGER 10/22 which was priced around $100 at the time. Needless to say it was then and continues to be a favorite. When the kids were small, the rotary mag made it quite easy to clear over my previous tube fed Marlin. Now 30 some odd years later the old guy wants the "best" optics and the Picatinny mounted right on my old sweetheart. The gun is actually aging better than the shooter!
