Each Ruger American Rimfire rifle includes two interchangeable stock modules that provide comb height options for scope or iron sight use. The lightweight black composite stock has sling swivel studs and is designed for quick and easy handling with a 13.75" length of pull. The Marksman adjustable trigger offers a user adjustable pull weight, between 3 and 5 pounds. The free-floated hammer-forged barrel has a target-crown, ultra-precise rifling to provide exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning, and a satin blued finish. It has a 10/22 style extended magazine release for smooth magazine removal. It includes a fiber optic front sight, 10/22 style adjustable V slot, folding leaf rear sight, and a 3/8" rimfire scope base is machined into the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped for Weaver #12 bases (not included).

I have been wanting a Ruger American 22mag for awhile. Finally pulled the trigger so to say and ordered from Buds gun shop. What a great experience. Got my gun in 4 days. Put a scope on it and took it to the shooting range. After about 6 shots it was lined up. I shot 1.25in groups at 100yds. It was a great experience ordering online and very easy. Thank you Buds

One of the few guns I have purchased that required no sight adjustment out of the box. I have used several boxes from multiple manufacturers without any failure to feed, or eject problems.

Got my Ruger yesterday... Installed a Bushnell scope last night. Shot three 3-shot groups and after that was pretty much where I needed to be.... At 50 yards next 11 shots inside an inch.... Some of that was probably me.... Great out the door performance! When I get a day off, I will test out to 100 yards....

Recently viewed this rifle at a gunshow and had to have one, but of course, not at their prices. So off to Bud's website for a great price, way less than at the show, and very fast delivery. Great communication from Buds as to when it shipped tracking number etc. Mounted it with a good 3x9x40 rimfire BDC scope and took it to the range today where I sighted it in at 50 yards with two different types of 22 mag ammo as suggested in the scope instructions. Perfect function. Love the easy to load rotary magazine! Accuracy with CCI 40 grain varmint HPs and Hornaday Critical Defense 45 grain ammo was fantastic, though they printed groups a few inches apart. Lots of sub 3/4 inch groups and lots were small single holes. Rifle was an absolute pleasure to shoot and shoots as well or better than some of my really fancy 22 LRs. Awesome little field gun for varmints or small game for a super reasonable price.

Buds must have been busy as it took longer to ship than expected but they did keep me informed. Rifle looks good other than the stickers are a huge pain to remove and left a sticky film on the stock. River suggested rubbing alcohol to remove. Have not shot yet.

    Joseph, this has a Fiber Optic fron sight, , Adjustable Rear Iron Sight , The folding leaf rear sight is adjustable for elevation. A 3/8" rimfire scope base is machined into the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped for Weaver #12 bases. Have a great day!
