There is a 3rd way they could be shipped and that is rolled (in tube)which is how I suspect they would come Rolled is how the large targets I bought came ( not from Buds) I suggest that you Contact Buds at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button and ask them We are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions

These come "Rolled" in the original container from Champion. There are many reviews on Amazon from purchasers that state : "The targets are great, wish they came flat packed, it’s a bit of a pain to re roll the targets after teaching a course and put them back in original target box. Otherwise they are what is pictured".
