The Bergara B-14 Hu ter is a well made rifle.

I really enjoy shooting it. It is on the heavy side though.

Never could get this gun to group 3 shots under 2 inches. Sent it back to Bergara, they said it was fine, sold the rifle, bought a Tikka.

This is the third firearm I’ve purchased from Bud’s and I’m extremely happy with their service. They always seem to have the best selection, price and service. This time the shipping time for my rifle was even better than my previous experiences. The rifle itself, a Bergara Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor, is already my favorite. The quality appears excellent and it grouped. Dnear MOA within the first ten shots. Waiting for cooler weather to really fine tune it but I’m sure that wiil be easy. Bergara is famous for their barrels, but I also love its appearance and it’s trigger is the best I’ve experienced, I’m really looking forward to deer hunting with it this fall. .

Very nice rifle for the money. I love the #3 contour barrel and the hinged floorplate. The synthetic stock is much nicer than others I've owned on cheaper Remingtons and Savages. There is some flex in forend but plenty stiff enough for barrel to remain free floated. The rifle's accuracy improved after 70 rounds or so. I'm getting 3 shot groups in the .5-.6 range with hand loads. This particular rifle shoots the Nosler 140 grain ballistic tip, Hornady 143 Eld-x, and Hornady 129 gr FB Innerlock extremely well. The only cons so far would be the trigger and magazine constraint. I've lightened the trigger as low as it will go and it's breaking clean with no creep at 3 lbs. I prefer a somewhat lighter trigger but it's fine for hunting. The magazine will not allow overall cartridge length to exceed 2.825". This causes considerable jump to the lands on many bullets. Those are my only two complaints. The rifle is obviously made and put together by people who care. Highly recommend!

First time ordering online and first Bergara. Pleased with Bud's customer service. Shipping of product took longer than expected. Rifle feels solid. Stock not flimsy like most rifles in this price range. Trigger good and crisp. Sub MOA with first group. Would recommend rifle and will be using Bud's in future.
