The Escort SDX12 is a great weapon. I was a little worried that it would be too much for a 79-year-old, but my first shot proved to be very good. The weapon is heavy. The extra magazines could very handy. The sites need to be adjusted some but not enough time with deer season under way. I think it can be used to turkey hunt. I will be checking it out in a few months. I forget the clerks name that helped me in the purchase was very helpful. I purchased the gun online and had it shipped to Sevierville store, and it all worked out just perfect. Thanks Jim

Alot of gun for the money fun to shoot.

This shotgun is very well made, easy to dissasemble, easy to adjust sights, everything is easy all around to manage. I am too tall yet it fits like a glove in my grip. The included 5 round magazines work smoothly and pop right out when released. I bought aftermarket magazines for 10 rounds, they fit well, but needed a lot of cycling to pop out smoothly. I sat on the sofa and just did it for as long as I could stand and they work much better. Weak shells, 1200fps, jamed badly, but anything over 1300fps cycles smoothly with no jams. 2 3/4" and 3" shells cycle without troubles as long as they are over 1300fps. The shorter shells are easier to load than the 3", the magazines are a bit hard to load, I used a pencil to push down the loaded shells at the rear and it makes loading the next shell much easier. You need a tool of that sort to make loading smooth. The gun is heavy, about 9 pounds empty, but the handle makes carrying a breeze. All in all I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Shipping was fast with no damage, and all the included things were appreciated.

The money you pay buys a whole lot of gun. This thing is solid. I purchased the SDX12 for home defense. I had been using my old Remington 1187 shotgun, but it is for hunting and is a full-size goose gun. There are so many options with the SDX12. The pic rails allow a lot of customization. I can add scopes, dots, lights, bi-pods, slings, and much more. This is the eighth firearm purchase from Bud's. I placed my order on Sunday and received my shotgun Wednesday afternoon. Super fast processing and shipping! I can not say enough about the quality of service from Bud's Gunshop or the quality of the Escort SDX 12.

This is a beast of a shotgun. 60 rounds through it and not one jam. It's a little on the heavy side, but shouldn't be an issue for most. This is my first semi auto shotgun and I couldn't be more pleased.

Shipped fast. Took 3 days to get to ffl , it's a little heavy , seems well made , I put 20 high velocity loads through it , worked flawlessly . Only issue is you have to take it down and tighten the barrel down before shooting .Great gun .

This escort SDX is a lot of fun. A true AR platform shotgun. Get your breakin period in and it’s smooth as silk. No issues racking or ejecting. I love everything about this shotgun. It’s a real head-turner, that’s for sure.

gun came in five days what a beast love it

Buds made the purchase of this shotgun very easy. The FFL I wanted to receive it was already on the list so I simply had to choose the FFL. I'm impressed with the quality you get for the price paid. I've fired it only once but it shoots very good. I was initially concerned that I had been shorted one choke but then realized that the brake on the shotgun is also the cylinder bore choke.

This is my first ever shotgun, got to say I’ve been very impressed with it. I’ve put about 200 rounds of high brass Winchester 2 3/4 inch 9 pellet OO Buck 1325 FPS. I haven’t had one jam or failed to feed. I would recommend this AR-12 Shotgun, it’s been a pleasure to shoot. CK

Is well made gun, is turkish i have a lot of turkish gun never have a problem with any of then neither with this Escort shotgun.

Well built and HEAVY. Will not cycle any loads less than 1300 FPS. Polymer handguard shows discoloring from heat after 15 rounds. Panzer 10 round mags work fine. Buttstock is not adjustable. Overall pleased with price and free and quick shipping.
