If you purchase this gun, just know that you might have to spend a bit more money on it after it arrives. The quality control seems to be lacking...at least for the gun I received. The front sight is completely mis-aligned...not even close to straight or centered on the barrel. If the pictures, come through, I promise the picture is not distorting the site alignment. It is actually that far off. I can't believe they would let this gun go out the door like this! I have tried to remove the small nut holding it, but it is likely thread-locked on...I cannot remove it. I will likely have to pay a gunsmith to make this right and also likely have to buy a new front site.

I purchased this shotgun because I’ve wanted this model for a long time, Bud’s had it for a great price. I haven’t tried it out yet but expect it to run flawlessly as other reviews have noted.

Fantastic firearm and a great value. It's a great gun to accessorize. They say that it takes most Benelli parts and for the most part, that's true. I put on a Mesa Tactical stock made for the Benelli M-4 and found that the recoil spring tube is longer and had to replace it with a Benelli tube I had left over from another project. Not difficult, but something to keep in mind as far as parts interchangeability. I haven't tried bird shot in it yet as I haven't yet exceeded 100 rounds, but everything else has been flawless. No disappointments here.

Was a little worried when I pulled it out of the box, with the initial thought of well you get what you pay for. But to my surprise it handled great on the range and was very comfortable. No regerts on this purchase!

The shotgun was great for the first 50 shells then the magazine tube stopped feeding rounds onto the lifters.

I’ve been having my eye on this shotgun for a while doing tons of YouTube and internet research. First time purchasing a gun online and was astonished at the ease of it all. Ordered 07/10 from buds, shipped same day by 5pm! Only issues was with UPS having a delay in delivery, not a buds issue! Delivery was 3 business days. Gun has a nice weight to it, OAL comes up to under 43 inches Vs the advertised 47-48inch OAL. Checked gas pistons on inspection, no peening but had some metal shavings. Not a big issue, going to get this beauty home and cleaned up to get it ready for break-in shooting this weekend! Again thanks buds, y’all are awesome!

I have an original Benelli M4 but it’s a first year or two and is just too mint to shoot. After lots of vids, I decided to buy 2 1014’s. I also bought original 7 round tubes and shell lifters. I disassembled them, cleaned and lubed and checked fit/finish. All was great. Function is great and they shoot flawless. For 369 bucks plus a little more for the upgrades, what a great gun.

I love the shotgun so far. Build quality appears to be good and I have run about 65 rounds of Winchester Defender (1,150 fps); assorted slugs, and Remington buckshot without any issues. I also ran a box of Sellier and Bellot buckshot through it which it did not appear to like (despite 1,350 fps) as it had a few hangups (maybe 4 out of 25 rounds failed to fully extract). I want to give it another 100 rounds or so of assorted ammo before I can fully trust it but all in all, this shotgun seems to be well worth the money.

I bought this for myself as a combo Christmas/Birthday gift. I am always leery buying firearms online, because it can be hard to tell what you are getting by a couple of small pictures. Regardless, this checked every that I wanted in a home defense shotgun, at a price point that is extremely affordable. Shipping to my FFL was a breeze. He told me he was curious to see it. When I opened the box, he and I were but very impressed by the quality of the shotgun. It has the look and feel of a shotgun that costs hundreds more. It is rock solid in every aspect. He told me that he wanted an update when I finally got to shoot it. Well...today was that day. I would like to preface my review by letting everyone know that the first thing I did when I got this shotgun home, was to break it down, and clean out all of the cosmoline...or whatever rust preventative they use. I have seen reviews online where guys take this shotgun right out of the box, no cleaning, a dry BCG, and then try to run low velocity shells during break in. The gun fails, and the negative comments about cheap, Turkish made firearms begins in the comments below. I took 30 rounds of Fetter .00 buckshot, and a box of Winchester Wing and Clay high brass to the local range. Both have a velocity of approx. 1350 FPS. I started with the Winchester. This sucker just pounded it. Then I switched to the buckshot. It is then when I realized that this shotgun is just straight up built for buckshot. It is a beast. The stock full choke gave me softball size groups at 25'. Even with the high brass 71/2 shot, I was getting 6"- 8" groupings at the same distance. Not one failure to load, fire, eject and cycle. I have added the SAS 2 round magazine extender, so I was able to get 7 rounds in the magazine. The shotgun performed flawlessly. One other thing I would like to mention about this shotgun is recoil. I am 6', 240 lbs. I am 61 years old. This shotgun has the softest recoil of any 12 gauge I have ever fired. I could shoot this ALL DAY. The 50 rounds I put through it went so fast. It was so much fun to shoot, and with a simple red dot that I already had, it has instantly become one of my favorites in the safe. As a home defense shotgun, as a range popper, just for fun...I cannot say how impressed I am with this awesome firearm. I plan to save my pennies and buy the one with the walnut stock. That would be a nice 1/2 punch! Bud's got it to my FFL with no issues. Just the way I like it. Thanks for the great product and service.

This is a review of Military Armament Corp MAC 1014 12ga Semi Auto Shotgun 18.5" Barrel, 5 1. First, Buds sales and service is great! Now about the shotgun. When It arrived, I disassembled it for pre shoot cleaning. The barrel was waaayyy toooo tight in the receiver fit and I almost gave up to return the gun. Then I let the action slam home as when loading a round and it moved slightly. repeated it 3 more times and got it apart. The barrel appeared clean so I ran a clean piece of tee shirt thru it and reassembled it. It went together but still wayyy to tight. After shooting 25 rounds of Rio Royal Buck and slugs thru it, I had no malfunctions, shot placement was repeatable ( I installed and sighted in a red dot sight during this session). When I got home, disassembly was still too tight but seemed a little better. When I went to clean the bore, The fouling was stuborn and took a lot to remove. I don't think it was the ammo as this ammo in my benilli never produced a hard time cleaning. Maybe the factory had some kind of grease or protective coating that the hot gasses from the shot didn't play well with. Overall, it was a good buy with the exception of the barrel fit being so tight. If it doesn't loosen up I will return it to have it repaired. It shot perfectly and the recoil was less than My old recoil operated Benilli. Bud's made my very first online gun buy very pleasant. I was very intimidated at first not knowing what to expect. But I have been wanting a MAC 1014 for quite some time and none are available locally. When they are, they go for $500+ and are snapped up quickly at gun stores. Looking at gun.deals website is ultra-tempting with never before seen low prices and availability. The whole process with Bud's was simple, direct and fast. I had my MAC delivered a few days after the order and was able to track it's progress all the way. The only negative aspect was having to pony up a $35 transfer fee at a local gun store, but I guess that is a profit area to be exploited by most dealers since they cannot match online volume prices. MAC 1014 shotgun This is a high quality semi auto shotgun!! Awesome fit & finish! I’ve had the gun for a couple weeks now & am halfway through the recommended 100 round break in period. The gun has eaten through all the 2.75” & 3” buckshot & slugs that I have put through her. She did choke up on some 1350 fps 1 ounce bird shot, but I’ll try some more of that after I get the other 50 rounds through her. I’m not that worried if she won’t shoot birdshot - bought her for running buckshot & she does that flawlessly!

After hearing so many good things about the Mac 1014 and my brother buying one. I picked one up from Buds and I must say this thing is flawless, shoots well and comfortable to handle. 200 rounds through it and so far not a single malfunction. Packaged well and came with some chokes and a sling. I highly recommend picking one up especially if you don't want to drop a whole bunch on an M4, this thing shoots well, handles well, and it feels well built. Get you one!

This shotgun is one heck of a bargain in today's world. Form, function, and fit all come together in a clone of the highly popular Benelli M4/1014, at less than a fifth the price. The gun came with a sling, a set of three choke tubes, and the tools for sight adjustment. Clean it well before first use! It is highly advised that you break this gun in with 100 rounds of high power / high velocity ammunition in order for it to feed and fire lower power rounds down the road. Over the weekend, I was able to put about 70 rounds through this gun before running out of time and so far it is operating perfectly. I had no fails to feed, no fails to fire, and no fails to eject. And I don't expect any. This gun is a rarity today, in that you get your money's worth and then some. This is the third gun I've purchased from Bud's, and, as always, the service was topnotch with complete customer satisfaction. Thank you!

I'm 65 and never shot a firearm in my life, so I purchased a shotgun- of all things. This gun is easy to work on and should make a nice hobby for me. Mod's include normal sized 7 shell tube, Sig Saur red dot, shortened stock, larger charging handle. Buying things from this store feels very safe and secure. I like the fact that they store my computer's IP Address so they know when I come back. This store has become my go-to place for guns and gun parts!

The Mac 1014 is a well-designed semi automatic 12 gauge with exceptional performance when it states 5 + 1 it is referring to 2.75 length when using 3 inch it is 4 + 1 .

I shot a total of 100 rounds (suggested from the manual) from 20 rounds of high velocity 1800 fps Remington slug shot shells to 50 shot shells of 00 buck 9 shot 1450 fps to 3 10 round boxes of Fiocchi Home defense 1150 00 buck 9 shot shells and they all cycled without a beat!!!!! For a budget shotgun you get alot for the money, and Bud as always sent the shotgun so fast it was here within 2 days through UPS. Love buds!!!!!

Thanks. The Mac 1014 combat shotgun is awesome. I was able to start with 3" magnum loads. Probably 20 of those. Then 3 1/4 dram loads of 7.5 shot. 25 ct box. Then 25 ct box of dove loads. The shotgun ran everything not even a hint of a problem. Love it
