HSM Bear Load .45 Colt ammunition is built for protection in bear country and other dangerous-game situations. Each cartridge uses a 325-grain hard-cast lead Wide Flat Nose bullet designed to deliver deep penetration and strong terminal performance. The brass-cased load is packaged in a 50-round box and is intended only for firearms rated for high-performance .45 Colt ammunition, including the Ruger Blackhawk, original Ruger Vaquero manufactured before 2005, Ruger Bisley Blackhawk, Thompson/Center Contender, and firearms chambered in .454 Casull or .460 S&W. It is not suitable for Colt Single Action Army, Colt Cowboy, Colt Anaconda, Ruger Redhawk, Ruger New Vaquero manufactured after 2004, Taurus Judge, Smith & Wesson revolvers, or vintage firearms.

Good ammo, starline...
Good ammo, starline brass, but the bullet is too long (with a wide meplat) to cycle in my Rossi 92. Should be great in a Ruger Redhawk revolver. Don't use this in old-style single actions like Single Action Army or Peacemaker. I've since discovered Underwood.
