The Brownells 5° .38/.357 barrel chamfering plug gauge is a self-piloted precision tool for checking the barrel throat chamfer diameter in a very narrow accuracy window. By slipping the plug into the throat, you can quickly see when you are approaching the correct diameter and avoid over-cutting.
