The Brownells #5 fixed-blade screwdriver is precision-ground for accurate fit in screw slots and firm control while working on firearms and fine gunsmithing components. The blade tip is radiused and hollow-ground for maximum strength, with a parallel section that fits the screw slot through the full width and depth to help prevent screw damage. The blade/shank is hardened to Rc 58-60 for toughness, and the short 2.5 in working blade length helps eliminate wobble and tilt.
