Brownells Revolver Barrel/Frame Taps are made to match the thread profiles used on Smith & Wesson K, L, and N frame revolvers, as well as the oddball threads found on Ruger GP-100 barrels and frames. When you rebarrel or install a factory replacement barrel, these taps are used to restore or clean up damaged threads so the new barrel threads properly and seats correctly.
