The AKAI Custom Guns Velocity V2 is a custom-built 2011-style competition pistol chambered in 9mm. Designed for USPSA and IPSC performance, it combines a modular STI or Phoenix Trinity frame with an undercut trigger guard, performance-oriented grip texture, a Schuemann or Infinity match hybrid barrel, and Velocity slide cuts. Extreme Engineering trigger components provide an approximately 2.5-pound trigger pull, while the full-length guide rod and tuned build support fast, consistent shooting. A Bomar-style adjustable rear sight and fiber optic front sight provide a precise sight picture, and Wilson ambidextrous high-ride safeties offer positive control for either hand. The pistol is completed with an STI flat trigger, Dawson ICE magwell, Ion Bond gun coating, and one tuned high-capacity 2011 magazine.
