A: You'll need to remove the rear sight that comes with it in order to mount a carry handle, but besides that it should be a perfect replacement and should line up with the front sight post as well.

A: NO, Colt CR6920 is mil-spec so any good quality mil-spec carry handle fit perfectly and alight with the front sight. I highly recommend Colt carry handle. Of course, you will need to remove the rear sight....which is very easy. I hope this helps!
