The CZ 457 Lux combines classic European styling with the modern performance of the 457 rimfire action. Its Turkish walnut hogback stock features a cheekpiece and comb designed for a comfortable cheek weld when using the factory iron sights. The 24.8-inch cold hammer forged barrel is chambered in .22 LR and pairs with an adjustable trigger for precise, consistent shooting. A receiver-mounted two-position safety provides straightforward operation, while the shortened, slab-sided receiver reduces the rifle's overall footprint and weight. An 11mm dovetail allows the addition of compatible optics, and the CZ 457 platform supports interchangeable barrel and chambering configurations. One 5-round magazine is included.

regarding question of...
regarding question of removing the sight hood, one good way is to use a circlip plier to expand the hood. tape the tips so as not to scratch, insert pins inside of hood front opening, expand and slide hood off to the front. easy peesy.
