Product Overview
The IWI Tavor 7 is a compact bullpup rifle chambered in 7.62x51 NATO and built around a reliable short-stroke gas piston system with a closed rotating bolt. Its 16.5-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel provides durable service life, while the four-position gas regulator allows the rifle to be tuned for different ammunition and operating conditions. A full-length Mil-Std Picatinny top rail supports a wide range of optics, and the rifle includes folding iron sights for immediate use. Ambidextrous controls, reversible ejection and charging-handle configurations, an ambidextrous magazine release, and a 45-degree ambidextrous safety make the Tavor 7 adaptable for right- or left-handed shooters. The reinforced polymer bullpup stock keeps the overall length to 26.75 inches while accepting widely available LR-308 and SR-25 pattern magazines.

What is there to say....
What is there to say. This is a solid, heavy, military battle rifle designed by IWI and made in America. The manual says it only uses 7.62x51 or 7.62 NATO ammo (same thing), not .308, so i wouldn't experiment with .308. Chambering a round requires some force, so if you're used to AR's you will find it harder to cock. Overall I am happy with it.

This rifle is an amazing addition to the collection. Built like a tank it is a bit of a hog but it's well balanced and shoots great. Paired it with a set of Troy battle sights and sighted for <100 yards it is a close combat beast.
