The TriStar Viper G2 is a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun designed for reliable performance with both standard and heavy loads. This 12 Gauge hunting model features a durable synthetic stock with Soft Touch treatment and a Realtree Edge camouflage finish. Its 26-inch chrome-lined barrel and chamber provide corrosion resistance, while the vent rib and matted sight plane support a clear sight picture. A fiber optic front sight helps with quick target acquisition in changing light. The shotgun includes a 5+1 capacity tubular magazine, a manual E-Z Load Magazine Cut-Off, and three Beretta and Benelli Mobil-style choke tubes in improved cylinder, modified, and full configurations.

A pretty great gun...
A pretty great gun overall. I've used it for over 5 years and about 3000 - 5000 rounds. So for only found one load that would not cycle correctly and it was a case of cheap Herters low brass target loads. Those would require manual ejection due to low power and tight chamber fit after firing. Disassembly for cleaning is pretty easy, but reassembly is always a bit challenging to get the barrel to smoothly engage the upper action. Requires a lot more cleaning due to gas action than a similar gun with inertia drive action. I wish I had bought the 3 1/2" Stoeger.
