Product Overview
The Weatherby Sorix Storm is a 20 Gauge semi-automatic hunting shotgun built around an inertia-operated recoil system. Its 28-inch barrel and 3-inch chamber provide a versatile setup for upland hunting, waterfowl, and general field use. The reversible Shift System allows the charging handle and push-button safety to be configured for either side, making the shotgun suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters. A competition-style receiver cut, oversized bolt release, textured stock touch points, soft cheekpiece, and adjustable stock shims support fast operation and a comfortable fit. The receiver is drilled and tapped with 8-40 holes, and the shotgun includes a Crio Plus choke system with cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, and full choke tubes, along with a choke wrench and carrying case.

Problem out of the box...
Problem out of the box with this gun. The forend stock would not seat correctly on the barrel making it impossible to assemble the gun correctly. The fore end had three metal rings where it should click in to the barrel and I wondered if this was the issue. Called Weatherby customer service and they were great. The representative was able to pull a Sorix from stock and told me his only had two locking rings. I pried one of the rings out (he did it on his gun first) to ensure it could be done without damaging the fore stock and after the gun came together as it should. Unfortunately because of this problem I was unable to use the gun on a planned event so I am still waiting to shoot it. BTY the service and delivery from Buds was great.
