Brownells .146x48 Oversize 6-48 Screw Shop Kit is designed to repair damaged scope base mounting screw holes by retapping them to the larger .146"-48 thread specification. It’s intended to keep you from re-drilling the base or the firearm by allowing you to restore threads in-place when holes have been ruined during drilling or tapping.
