Ordered and shipped same day. WOW! I considered this purchase for a few weeks. I am not a hunter, but I did want to add one relatively powerful round to my "arsenal." Modern .357 can be found in really powerful loads, so I was comfortable that this was up to whatever task I'd need it for. For the money, this Rossi LWC in .357 just cannot be beat. I have bought several firearms over the years, but this one had an automatic "feel good" right out of the box - and that got better after shooting it. That said, it does have some limitations. First, you're going to need a scope or a red-dot. I found a well-rated red-dot for only $30, and I was able to zero it in pretty quickly. I used .38 special for this, and then confirmed accuracy with a .357 round. It's small. Almost "youth" sized. But that also is a plus, it won't take up much room, and it's easy to carry. I'm looking into a butt-extension for it, but I'm not sure I'll need it. I handled it well, even though it felt a little off at first. If you're a big guy or gal, this might be a deal breaker. Yes, it's a single-shot. If you're looking for quick follow-up shots, look elsewhere. But I knew this going in, and frankly, taking time between shots is pretty cool. The barrel release button is tight. If I'd change anything on this, it would be to have it more of a lever than a push-button. I'm hoping the mechanism won't wear out over time. Rossi offers a one-year warranty, but I opted for Bud's extended warranty. Not a lot of things can go wrong with such a simple rifle, but warranties are great things. Not much else I can say that you won't find in the product description or other reviews. I'll just reiterate that it's a great price, a nice little rifle, and I look forward to more shooting, maybe carry it with me when I'm out in the woods. If you're looking for an affordable "starter" rifle for family or yourself, this might be the one.

Great little gun. It's a little smaller than I was planning on, but it fits the hand nicely. It's a revolver, so not much to go wrong with. Goes bang.

I actually use this as my carry gun during the winter months when I can conceal it easier. Very nice fit and finish. I was very impressed with the quality of this handgun.

Good rounds good price what is not to like? I prefer 180 to 240-recoil is plenty stout-so 180 preferred.

Great pistol-I like the magazine safety-that way I can have a round chambered-and only have to slide in a magazine-instead of having to work the slide with my 74 year old arthritic hands-besides it gives me some time to"wake up" before potential use. When you get old-you will understand.

It's a good price on those and I enjoy using buds be cause fast shipping. I plan on buying several guns later I've got to save my money just like everybody else. Both of my Tikka 6.5 PRCs seem to like the Terminal Ascent for accuracy as well as one of my .308s and my wife's 6.5 CM. Have had excellent results on whitetail deer with Terminal Ascent as well as Federal's Fusion. Highly recommend either one if your rifle groups well with them.

Shipping took a little longer than usual, but otherwise very satisfied with Buds. Finally got it out to the range and was very pleased with the performance. The gun is absolutely beautiful. However, I wish that Colt could have replicated the "Royal Blue" of the originals. The blueing on the new ones is more black and lacks that blue sheen of the older ones. Overall quality is great, but like most people, I wish Colt would have left the serial number on the crane and eliminated or put the QR code under the grip panels. Will be buying a 5 inch next.
