The Colt Python 6-inch revolver combines a forged carbon steel frame with a polished Blue/Black finish and a matte top rib for a distinctive classic profile. Its one-piece full-lug, vented-rib barrel features a recessed target crown, while the fluted six-round cylinder is chambered for .357 Mag and also accommodates .38 Special cartridges. Walnut target stocks with gold Colt medallions provide a traditional appearance and a comfortable, secure hold. An adjustable rear sight with increased supporting steel and a user-interchangeable front sight support precise sight alignment and durable field use.

Shipping took a little...
Shipping took a little longer than usual, but otherwise very satisfied with Buds. Finally got it out to the range and was very pleased with the performance. The gun is absolutely beautiful. However, I wish that Colt could have replicated the "Royal Blue" of the originals. The blueing on the new ones is more black and lacks that blue sheen of the older ones. Overall quality is great, but like most people, I wish Colt would have left the serial number on the crane and eliminated or put the QR code under the grip panels. Will be buying a 5 inch next.
