Such a nice 1911 with a few key upgrades. For the price how can you not get one.

Love this gun, absolutely fun to shoot. I bought this because it had a threaded barrel, I put a Banish 22 suppressor and a veridian green dot on it and it is very quiet and very accurate, and as usual Buds came thru with fast shipping and ease of buying, I love Buds gun shop, I have bought many guns from them and will continue to buy guns from them, This gun cycles subsonic ammo really well too.

I normally DON'T leave reviews; but, I was compelled to after shooting this pistol. It shot GREAT with ABSOLUTELY "ZERO" issues right out of the box, I installed an optic on the cut out slide and had it zeroed within 12 rounds. I ran a full box of 50 rounds thru it today without ANY PROBLEMS. I've owned full size colt 45's in my past and I have to say. This pistol worked every bit as good as any previous Colt I have owned. My research prior to purchasing this pistol had reviews stating that it was a handful/snappy when firing. I DID NOT experience any excessive snappiness when firing. Recoil felt more like a 38 super. This pistol is DEFINITELY worth the LIGHT COST. Compared to the cost of a colt defender. "Double the cost" of the GIRSAN. You CANT go wrong in buying this gun, and as always, ordering thru BUDS is FLAWLESS. I sincerely hope this review helps someone who might be on the fence about ordering it. One more note. It fit my medium/large hand perfectly, no pinky finger slipping under the mag well.

Bought this to plink around with at the shooting range due to it using a more affordable ammo than other caliber rifles. Rails make it easy to swap out and dial in sights. I've used a 4x20 scope, and currently use a red dot. It's a fun gun to shoot and the extra mags make it so that I spend more time aiming down range at targets. The fold in the rifle makes it easy to store, and reduces cleaning time after the range. Also, being made by S&W, you know it's a quality product. I'm happy with my purchase. It's fun to shoot, has low recoil, and the affordability of the ammo means I can spend more time on the range with less impact on the wallet. I would recommend this rifle.

Small critters don't stand a chance - and they don't even hear it coming. This ammo really hits hard and with a suppressor is super quite. My wife had a blast helping control the local ground squirl problem with this ammo - and she normally leaves the shooting to me (and the kids). Great price and fastest shipping from Buds once again!

Hornady Outfitter is awesome ammo and once again the best price and and fast shipping at Buds!

made my second purchase of a tisas1911 government model.u cannot bet the price with the workmanship I would put it up against my colts 1911 any day.i have also had great service at buds guns in Lexington ky. 5 stars.

Great entry level 1911 shot great getting ready to put optics on it

I have several MTM Powder Kegs that I use to store all kinds of products that I want to keep dry. The size works well for heavier items and they stack well.

You already know: PMAGs are the gold standard. I just keep buying these things.

Don't sleep on this stuff. It's steel-cased but surprisingly smooth.

I am very impressed with this Canik. As a first time buyer to the brand I was a little hesitant despite the reputation. It is easy to control and I am able to maintain a good sight picture. I bought it to replace the Hellcat RDP with a Holosun 507k. One of the main reasons for purchasing thus Canik is that it co-witnesses with the 507k with no adapter plates. And the included case and packaging is good quality too. Even came with a small tool kit shaped like a little gun and a holster.
