I was impressed with this firearm years ago, and didn't buy it as I'd bought many others that year. Later it had gone up significantly, and I figured it was a missed opportunity. I did keep my eye on it, and when I saw it at Buds for a lesser price tag than I'd seen for a while, I figured it was time. I used e-check, which does take a little longer but the savings more than covered the transfer fee at my local FFL. To see how well I could handle it, I started with a couple of loads of .38 Special. Very smooth shooting, no real recoil. And did a decent job, staying in a six-inch circle at 10 yards. Then I loaded some .357. WOW! A noticeable recoil, but still manageable. Same accuracy, and even found I hit the bullseye a few times. I'm sure with more practice I can manage the heft of the gun - heavier than what I'm used to, and I've not been shooting for quite a while. I wanted more firepower in a handgun, and this delivers. Point-of-aim true. A great night-stand arm. And its 8-round capacity is nothing but amazing. I am very happy with this purchase, and proud to own it. Buds is almost always my go-to for firearms at the best price, and I'm glad to have found this. My own regret, if it even is one, would I've preferred the 4.2 inch barrel? Well, there's a fix for that... Safe shooting all! If you like this gun... DON'T WAIT!!!

Love it first 357 shoots great

Great price, fast delivery

I'm going to give the gun itself 5 stars as the fit and finish is excellent, the AOS feature - not so much. The slide fitment is very tight, the trigger is very crisp and the safety is also very crisp and positive. Accuracy is excellent. I had two failures to go fully into battery during the first 100 rds but since then it has been flawless. I have read that it is recommended to replace the factory 9 lb recoil spring with a 12 lb Commander spring. One aspect of the gun that I found very disappointing was the AOS system. I was very excited to mount a Holosun 507K so I ordered the appropriate mounting plate from Springfield Armory. Those AOS plates are ridiculously expensive. I was very disappointed to find the 507K did not fit the plate properly. I knew it wasn't the sight because I had taken it off another gun on which it fit perfectly. The lug holes fit fine but it seemed like the AOS plate did not have enough clearance at the rear for the contour of the 507K. So I took out the Dremel and removed a bit of material from the AOS plate until it fit properly. As expensive as these plates are I certainly expected better fitment.

An excellent option for anyone looking for a combat- or defense-ready pistol with tactical features without breaking the bank

I am extremely happy with the Zastava M92. The fit and finish is absolutely flawless. I gave it a good cleaning and lube prior to the first range session. I mounted a Holosun ARO-RD2 as the gun is so short I cannot see the front sight clearly with my glasses. First range outing and it ran flawless with Wolf and Privi Partizan 123gr FMJ through a variety of magazines. The Wolf ammo gave me 15-rounds in one ragged 1.25-inch hole at 30 yards. Ejection was very positive, 3 o'clock and out about 10 feet. Primers showed a very uniform indent. If I had one critical thing to report it would be that the folding brace latch is very tight. It's so tight that you cannot manipulate it by hand without sticking something in the hinge and prying it over to the release point. This really doesn't bother me too much as I don't intend to fold it much anyway.
