The nickel playing on it it is real good, fit and finish is very good and has good rifling in the barrel, it has a very tight action and very smooth, and I would recommend this 45 ACP pistol to anybody that wants one....

This Canik has been amazing. Great groupings and has had zero malfunctions after hundreds of rounds. I have several Canik's now and this has become my daily carry.

It's an Amend2, which is my favorite kind of magazine, because I love their anti-tilt followers, and they can go places a Pmag can't, like into a magazine pouch designed for metal magazines. The spring is strong, as usual, which means no feeding problems, but you have to give it a good hard poke if you're inserting a full magazine against a *closed* bolt. There's nothing wrong, that's the way they are. The dipped finish looks smooth, but it has a fine sand paper-like texture that's nice and grippy, but not overly aggressive. It goes very well with my Black MultiCam B5 Systems furniture. I will always recommend Amend2 magazines.

I ordered the Rost Martin RM1S Comp without having seen one in a gun store or at a gun show. The bundle I ordered included the carry bag, a Viridian optic sight, and 4 magazines total (I think): 1 x 12-round and 3 x 15-round. The package was for a red-dot Viridian. I don't care for red; I prefer green on all my optics, just personal preference. All that for $499.00. It was an impulse buy, but my philosophy was this: I read the reviews, watched every video I could find from reviewers I consider reputable, honest, fair, and authoritative; I have a good carry gun for EDC; I bought this hoping it would replace my "micro-9." First things I noticed when I picked up the gun: 1) the machining is very well done, 2) the grip texture stuck to my hand without being obnoxious, 3) the grip angle is much more pleasant (not Glock-y, more S&W-ish) as far as grip angle goes, 4) the gun pointed exceptionally well and even with the short 12-round magazine did not feel unbalanced in my hand, 5) the Viridian optic was actually green (SCORE!), 6) the comp cut into the slide an barrel is very well done - I have looked for a video from Mr. Colion Noir but have not yet found it, however I imagine he would say (as he has of a couple of guns I like) "This is a good looking gun!", 7) the carry bag is very nice, 8) the 3 sizes of interchangeable backstraps are great to customize - note: you have to beat the roll pin out of the grip rather than just push it out with a punch or glock tool, 9) the slide cuts and controls are all very functional, and as one reviewer pointed out, the ambidextrous mag release works very well from both sides. 10, the perfect 10, in my opinion, after taking this gun to the range and putting it through its paces. Size-wise, for comparison, it sits between a Glock 19 and 26, and that is where I will end the comparison, since a Glock isn't my favorite platform. The comp really works, and paired with the Viridian, I felt I was stitching holes in the target rather than grouping shots. This gun is way more accurate than I will ever be, and the green dot and comp just make it even more ridiculous. I am very pleased with this purchase. The value is very good. The gun's quality and function are exceptional. The tolerances are tight and well made. I am extremely confident carrying this gun for my EDC now. Holster options are a bit scarce, but I put it in an UrbanCarry that fits it well, and I almost forget I am carrying it. If you are on the fence, if you are thinking, "no way, who the heck is Rost Martin," get your hands on one and see for yourself. This gun is a tank; it's not a Sherman, more like a latest-generation Abrams or Merkava. Its the fifth generation fighter in EDC handguns. It's sleek, refined, well-made, and packs a punch with a comp that works like a charm.
