Great gun is very accurate right out of the box shooting good close groups at 10 yards. at 7 yards eight shot dump, 4 inch group very pleased with this rock Island FS tactical 1911 45 ACP. No feed issues, but only 50 round shot CCI. the three dot sites are black but now they're white👍 I would definitely recommend this 1911 pistol very pleased with it myself.

Me and my son fired it today and he loves it. Smooth shooting. The gun is just right not to light or too heavy. Really enjoyed using. Didn't jam or anything! Loved it!!

I bought this gun in November of 2024 with a rebate. I own a lot of 45 ACP caliber guns. In terms of felt recoil while shooting suppressed, this is the softest shooting of my 45 ACP guns. The only gun that came extremely close in terms of softest felt recoil is my HK Mark 23. This gun is a must have if you're into shooting 45 ACP. The ammo capacity of 18 rds is unheard of for this caliber. It's accurate and a joy to shoot, definitely one of my favorite 45 caliber guns.

I sold my Black oxide 357 mag DE in 2021 and have regretted it since. I decided to upgrade to the polished chrome. I could tell it's been sitting awhile, because when I first opened the box the gun oil had dried and at first I thought they sent me the brushed chrome DE by accident. I looked closely and realized it was the polished chrome it was just dull from sitting so long. I highly recommend using Flitz polish, it's one of two or three polishes that is safe to use on polished chrome, make sure to use a microfiber cloth as well. I prefer the liquid polish over the paste. Ordered on a Friday it arrived Tuesday. This is my 4th DE that I ordered thru Buds. I have the White distressed 50 AE and Gold titanium tiger stripe 44 mag as well.

This pistol has the DAK trigger which is more or less a double action only. Otherwise it's a classic Sig with a German frame and American slide. Mine came with some minor cosmetic dings on the metal, and the Hogue grips has some heavy wear, but everything is still functional. It arrived dry as a bone, but a little oil smoothed everything up. Considering the price, it's a solid buy.

1st day on the range no failures of any kind. Rifle was at perfect zero right out of the box, no sight adjustments needed. Compared to the older model I owned many years ago, I noticed that the barrel doesn't heat up as fast, iron sights are much better, as is the trigger pull and smoothness of the safety. Also has the Ruger scope cuts and rings, and is drilled and tapped for an included pic rail, so lots of optic options. Having had experience with the wood stock and metal reinforcers I opted for this model with the Hogue as it eliminates those pieces and the loosening/tightening of them which typically means a shift in zero. Not an issue with the Hogue and the Ghillie Green is a cool color. Came with two 5-rd mags, great for hunting and the range. I ordered some factory 20's from Buds later as they had the best price by far. Don't ever use any mag other than factory Ruger by the way, save yourself that lesson. Service from Buds was the usual smooth process.

No complaints whatsoever. I haven't had any feeding issues in any of the semi automatic handguns I've tried this ammo in, it's accurate, it's reasonably priced. What more could you want?
