I'm super happy with this pistol. With the interchangeable back straps it allowed me to get the right size for my hands. It feels like a full size gun but is still great as an EDC. With 3 17rd magazines as part of the off duty program you have a lot of ammunition on hand. As a shooter this is a very good gun. The comp ports help with rise and when paired with a red dot groupings are tight.

What a package by Bud's / Smith and Wesson! The formidable and reliable S&W Shield Plus paired with extra mags and a range bag for an incredible price, didn't put it on wish list, I just hit BUY! Package arrived at my FFL, no issues, out of the box and into the range. Fired 50 rounds as is and no feed or ejection issues. This is my second Shield over 10 years, the first was a Shield when they had just released the series. With all the upgrades on the current model: tactile surface, optic ready, thumb safety, night-sites, it's just a terrific package to go from nothing to ready to go to the range. I'm not going to withhold a star but Bud's has gone from shipping within 2 days of purchase with: "Thank you for your order, it is currently being processed, and your item(s) are in transit to our shipping facility. Normally, items arrive within 4 business days, but in rare cases, it may take up to 7 business days." My last two orders were more of the 7 day variety and while this is still pretty quick, it is below my normal expectation, so, 2 cents worth. Excellent gun at a reasonable price. I've always wanted a gun chambered in the 5.7x28 cartridge, but they've always been out of my price range until now. Gun feels good in my hand and the trigger is decent as well. Ammo was ridiculously high at one point but now it's more affordable. Bud's has the best prices and service.

The amount of power in this pistol is mind blowing. The 10mm is a deer dropping powerhouse in a small package. The G40 is comfortable to shoot and accurate. I took this doe at 50 yards through the heart.

Just received mine a couple weeks ago and love it. The gun absorbs so much of the recoil from the 300 win. It was actually pleasant to shoot and a lot more accurate than I expected.
