I haven't found a factory load it doesn't like. Worked up some 230 gr Sportsmasters JHP and dropped 1.25 inch 7 shot groups at 15 yards consistently. Good looking piece, even a better shooter. Thanks Buds!

I was very pleased with buds and this pistol, very well put together, I rails in all the spots you need, built on a platform with plentiful spare parts, one word of advise, a he Mossberg plinker mags with the long plastic body do not fit this like they do on the rifle version maybe the short mag body ones will I don't know but this little thing is fun well worth the money

First double stack 1911 platform I've owned, pistol is fantastic. Well made, tight tolerances, runs fast and flat. Currently the barrel is with LFA getting ported. I am patiently awaiting its return. I'm guessing muzzle rise will be almost non-existent . Mags are not cheap for 2011's but I picked up two more from LFA's website, they are 18rd mec-gar . I went this route because my slide lock backs every time with the mag that came with pistol. I don't believe there is another 2011 of this quality w/ aluminum grip that can compete with cost. I've got less than $1,400 wrapped up in ported pistol,3 mags, Gideon Judge XL optic, and competition holster. Anything else in that price range is not going to be a bull barrel, aluminum grip, made in the U.S.A. .....makes me want the compact as well;)

Great rifle out of the box. The optics, though a lower grade than I use on my other hunting rifles, does a fine job and the rifle only took 3 shots to have it centered in at 100 yards. The rile stock is light, offers great grip, a good color for all seasons, and isn't too light where we could see flinching occur from shooting. This rifle is my son's first rifle as he turned 10 and he is very excited to use a left-handed rifle in-lieu of my right-handed models. Ammo of all sorts have no issues loading into the magazine and the shells are extracted easily each time. I would buy this rifle again in other calibers as long as they shoot as well in its .243 caliber. I haven't adjusted the trigger from its stock form, but it is crisp and doesn't require too much pull. An excellent rifle for new shooters that will last a lifetime if treated and maintained well. Nothing fancy, perse, but this rifle doesn't need to be...it just needs to be reliable and work when needed. We will eventually upgrade the optics but for a few years, what is provided is perfect!

Colt 1911 Government model - Competition in Blue Titanium 9mm Beautiful gun that I have been seeking out for several years now. Every bit as nice in real life as in the pictures. When I saw budsgunshop.com had it in stock and that Colt was offering a $100 rebate in Spring 2026 I jumped on it. I have ordered from Buds before and they generally have the best price and are very convenient to deal with, and this time was no different. The gun shoots as good as it looks - I couldn't be happier with Budsgunshop and Colt. (This pistol is so nice I'm thinking about getting one in 45 acp to go with it)
