Smooth action, very comfortable to hold, plan to purchase a second for my camper.

Transaction was straight forward as always with Bud's. I am happy with the pistol, especially for the price. Finish is a deep blue. Lock up is positive. Double action is heavy as expected. Single action is crisp. Accuracy seems good. Mine seems to like wadcutters.

I waited for years to purchase one of these but now am so glad I did. This is a Ruger made Marlin and it is done up right. Action was smooth out of the box and accuracy is impressive. Installed Skinner sights. I have been able to ring 12 inch steel consistently at 200 yards the last two times out. (Which is pretty good for my eyes) Bud's was great to work with. I'm blown away!!!! Trigger is crisp and light! Usually first thing I want to change but not this one! A little heavy but helps with the recoil for sure! The color is unique and definitely not the easiest to come by. Impressed with the out of the box accuracy and definitely looking to buy in different calibers! Bergara has ruined me from other rifles!

The SDS Imports Tisas 1911 A1 Tanker .45 ACP ended up being one of those purchases that just made sense—especially after how much I liked the Commander version. I wasn't sure it would feel different enough to justify owning both, but it absolutely does. Right away, the Tanker feels more compact and a little quicker in the hand. It keeps that classic GI-style 1911 look and simplicity, but in a tighter package that just feels easier to handle and carry. It still has that solid, all-steel weight you expect from a 1911, just without the extra length. On the range, it delivers exactly what I was hoping for. The trigger is crisp like the Commander—clean break, predictable reset—and it makes shooting it feel natural and controlled. The shorter barrel gives it a slightly snappier recoil, but nothing harsh. It's still very manageable and honestly just fun to shoot. Accuracy has been great for what it is. It points naturally, and at practical distances it's easy to stay on target. It feels like one of those pistols that just works with you instead of against you. Reliability has also been solid. It's run everything I've put through it without any issues, which is exactly what you want in a straightforward 1911 like this. No gimmicks, no unnecessary extras—just a clean, functional design that does its job. What I like most is how well it complements the Commander. The Commander feels a bit smoother and more range-friendly, while the Tanker feels more compact and versatile. Owning both doesn't feel redundant—they each have their place. Overall, if you're already a fan of the Tisas 1911 line, the Tanker is an easy recommendation. It keeps everything that makes the platform great and packages it into something a little more compact and lively. Definitely glad I picked it up.

I love the gun but the "FDE" is more of a polished tan. I wish it was flat but it's smooth
