Construction is good and functioning well.

Finally pulled the trigger and added a Scout II in .308 win to my collection. I am very happy that I did now that Michigan has rescinded the Zone 3 shotgun / straight walled cartridge only rules. I was also impressed by just how well my Yankee Hill Machine R9 suppressor works with .308 Combined with subsonic ammunition, this rifle is in the same noise category as .22 short CB Image uploaded from sighting in the 'back-up' sights at 50 yards suppressed. Have since installed a Hi-Lux Long Eye Relief 2-7X32 MK2 Rifle Scope

Very pleasantly surprised at how well built this rifle is. Shoots accurate and smooth. The finish on the stock feels very nice in hand and seems as though a little cold and water won't be to slippery.

This is a fine rifle , that shots and cycles flawlessly . My riffle from Bud's was manufactured with exceptional fit and finish. PS it's a pleasure to look at it and makes a strong statement on the wall as well, a win win for sure.

This Tikka in 300 WSM is a lethal Elk and Mike deer tool. Dam son with proper placement you will not be tracking shot game at all. Put a nice tooled leather sling on it and I'm loving this new rig. PS the short action round is much faster to cycle than the similar performing but longer 300 RemMag.

This is an awesome gun. I have the PT 92 and it a beautiful gun. I wanted a smaller gun to carry. The Taurus 58 is nearly identical. I love the stainless steel and the 58 is an identical version but is short enough to carry with an identical gun in a 380.

My Redhawk fits perfectly and the rig rides well on the belt.

Great shooting super smooth firearm with a lot better than average trigger

I've wanted a Sharps '74 since I first saw Quigley Down Under, and this was the closest I could find, for half the price of the real thing! Stock photo for the page doesn't do it justice, mine did not come with the stock checkering and I am incredibly grateful for it! It also features an octagon barrel, also not clear in the single product photo, which is why I'm adding my own. Shoots amazing, by my 3rd shot I was hitting a 12in steel plate at 250 yards (while listening to the Quigley soundtrack of course). The gun is so heavy that the 45-70 feels like a shove instead of a punch, which my shoulder surely appreciated. I've been using 405gr HSM Cowboy Action loads which seem to work great, definitely be careful when you're picking your ammo, look for trapdoor, cowboy or standard loads if possible, intensive online research said to avoid lever action pressures. Buds shipping was as quick and painless as always, I ordered in the morning and it had a shipping number by lunch. Minor complaints that are easily rectified. Every single screw was loose when I took it out of the box, to the point that the gun audibly and visibly rattled when shaken. A quick and easy fix but a reminder to work them over before taking them to the range. The finish on the wood was also fairly tacky (sticky), but again a quick wipe down with an oilcloth fixed it. Finally, the rear sight is extremely small, just the slightest divot to line up with the thin front blade. I'm currently planning to order an aftermarket buckhorn sight with a ladder from Skinner or Sharps for both more movie accuracy and my eyes.
