This is my first 1911 platform and I can understand why it's so popular. I have several very popular 9mm striker fire and double action hammer fired 9's. I figured I would purchase the Prodigy knowing the resale wouldn't be an issue if I didn't like it. I put a few hundred rounds through it and I am sold! No malfunctions and I am totally loving the trigger even though it is a bit heavy at 3.75 lbs. I am hoping this drops as it get's broken in, but it's manageable as it is. I can't remember the last time I looked forward so much to getting a pistol back onto the range.

Gun was to my FFL with in a week. Told them what I wanted, they could not find. Blame that on the newer generation. Came home an in less then half hour, there it was. Received week later. Personal always look to Buds for hard to find items .

Will review pistol in a few days. Wanted to mention that mine did have 2 +2 mag extensions included. Took about 5 minutes to convert the 15 round included mags to 17 rounds. Was more than pleasantly surprised. Picked up my pistol today 07/25/26 from FFL.

Very satisfied with the process and purchase of this firearm. Very impressed with buds policies. They keep their word. Customer service is five stars in my book. Now the firearm out of the box is very appealing. Added a Swampfox Justice 2 and hit the range. After 300 rounds not one issue so far nor complaints. Once again Tisas did not disappoint they continue to exceed . My experience with buds has earned future purchases.

The factory trigger though very good simply would not work with my hand after a couple hundred rounds so I changed to Freedomsmith. Much more suited to me. Great gun.

Given the price, I was not expecting such a quality firearm. Fit and finish is greatly above what I was expecting. Highly recommended!

Absolutely outstanding rifle. The fit and finish are excellent, the walnut stock is beautiful, and the bolt is incredibly smooth. It feels like a much more expensive firearm. CZ really hit it out of the park with this one. Highly recommended.
