Solid performer so far. Not a ton of range time but no hiccups in +/-200 rounds. Bud's wasn't the cheapest but it was close enough for me to pick up in person. If you have to have the real deal, pay more for the HK. I didn't see the need for bragging rights to the tune of an extra $1k. Fit and finish is solid. Already have a claw mount with a red dot and SB brace. Overall, very happy with my purchase. If you're on the fence, go for it.

The proprietary Ruger mini 14 magazines are excellent, sturdy, perfect functioning. I see no good reason to take a chance on any other brand just to MAYBE save a couple bucks! Ammo prices are OK, I especially like the Rio Royal #1 Buck 20 gauge!! Now my "go-to". Bud's has the good products, prices and quick shipping! I initially found the website a little wonky to navigate but a few times around the block, it's OK! Thanks, Bud's!

Tried to order straight from cimarron but they were out of stock but pointed me to buds. Box came a little roughed up but gun was fine. FFL transfer only took about 15 minutes, fastest transfer I've had so far. Took to range same day after cleaning and it shoots great. Used cowboy loads (250 grain). Only had one issue. While shooting once when hammer was pulled back cylinder didn't align and it didn't shoot, but a quick reaction of hammer and it aligned.

I just got mine about 10 days ago and I'm very impressed with the fit and finish. I've only put about 25 rounds through it and standard velocity rounds are spicy in this revolver. You definitely feel the recoil. Reduced recoil cowboy loads are easier to handle. The cylinder locks up tight with no play. The only complaint would be the incredibly tight base pin which is impossible to remove. I'm sending the pistol back to Taurus to fix that problem. I would recommend this pistol to someone looking to buy an affordable single action pistol.
