My first Marlin and first handgun caliber in a lever action. Bud's did a great job as always, shipping was rather bizarre as it arrived two months after shipping. Thanks to Bud's for the trace and getting it moving again across a tour of many areas normal shipments from Bud's haven't gone through. Cleaned the gun and then to the range. Using the as built open sights and off hand I shot five shot strings of two different 357 mag. ammo. Consistent groupings of 1" with ammo A and 3/4" ammo B at 100 yards made me smile. I'm certain adding a scope and on the bench groups would tighten up some. Bottom line is I'm more than pleased, especially after fifty consecutive hits on a 6" plate at a hundred. Action smoothed out very quickly, trigger is fine for a hunting rifle. I'm thinking about another Marlin now in 45LC, we will see. I would love to see Ruger bring back the 444 Marlin, never owned one but shot a friends years ago.

Very awesome gun shoots well I would recommend people to pay attention to it cuz I didn't know it was a gap which bullets are harder to find for it and they cost a little bit more money than the standard bullets but otherwise in that awesome gun.

What a fun revolver! Yes, even with big mitts like mine you can shoot it with some accuracy at 15 feet. Easy to disassemble, clean, and reload. Be careful, though. If your lady sees it she's going to want it…I call it the kitten effect.

For me, it's an excellent shotgun; I'd even say it might be better than the Beretta Mod2 OD Green that I own.

It's an iconic weapon. Since FN started producing it, the changes have been noticeable, and for me, it's a truly excellent weapon. It's a joy to use at the target; it's very safe. The only thing I changed on mine were the sights.

Really like this rifle. Fit and finish are excellent. The trigger is crisp with just slightly over 3 lbs break. The 16.6" barrel will make this a very good "tree stand" gun. With the barrel being threaded , I'm planning on using a suppressor with it to hunt with. ( legal in Pa ) Again with the 16.6" barrel the suppressor will work well. Overall this is probably one of the best rifles I've had from Ruger ... I've had a lot of them. The transaction went smooth , shipping was a little longer ( 10 days ) than I'm accustomed to with Buds , but I ordered it right after the holidays . probably the reason.
