Ruger never disappoints with their American lines of rifles. I now own some Gen I, Go Wild and Gen II rifles and every one just shoots. If they made more of the magnum cartridge rifles, I would buy them.

LRX bullets have become a real favorite of mine. If they shoot well out of a rifle, they are about all that i will use.

My rifle seems to like this load and I had no issue sighting in with it. The only deer I've taken with this round was a 9 point buck. He was standing broadside at just over 300 yards when I fired. It was a high a high shoulder shot and he took a step.

There are a lot of people these days that say Colt 1911's are not really worth what they cost. I just received my first government model. I have not shot this one yet, but my Colt Commander model has functioned perfectly and has inspired me to purchase this model for it's historical lineage. The fit is not too lose at all and the deep blued finish is superb, the trigger is about what you would expect, good but not great. I'm sure if my WWII veteran Marine father were still alive, it would bring his nod of approval. I am confident that it will shoot fine and serve it's intended purpose very well. The specs list three dot sights. The pistol I received does not have the dots and I suspect that it is a misprint. This beautiful pistol is indeed a "throwback" to many years gone by. I am sure it was money well spent. And... there is just something about owning a Colt.

Awesome high capacity 45acp semi auto. Accuracy is good for this heavy round.

One of the best pistols I've ever had the pleasure of shooting. Springfields have always been my go to for everyday carry firearms and this one is without a doubt my favorite so far!
